I cannot recommend this place enough! Tom is more than a pharmacist, he’s a partner in your healthcare journey. He’s thoughtful and knowledgeable and will spend time talking through your Rx, and if you need more info he’ll provide all the details of the medicine, what you can expect and/or recommendations. Not to mention that he makes every effort to process and turn orders around quickly. When the USPS messed up delivery of time sensitive medication that I needed before a trip to Hawaii, (not his fault), he sent another order to me FedEx next day and covered the expense so that I would have it when I arrived at hotel. Tom heart-centric and patient-focused, and in a time where our healthcare feels broken, Tom is one of the few good providers left.
NOTE: For anyone complaining about phones and response time: Keep in mind this is an independently owned and run pharmacy. So there aren’t a bunch of people working there to take calls, so you are likely going to leave a message. It may be frustrating in the moment, but that also means the cost of your Rx is FAR LESS than other places with more staff and the quality is just as good if not BETTER. I have found it’s best to call after 1:30pm and if I don’t hear back by end of day I always hear back within 24 hours. Also, be considerate and don’t wait until the last minute to submit your Rx or request refill. Hands down I give OC Compounding pharmacy a 10 out of 10!

I called this pharmacy with an unusual medication need after cvs said I needed a compounding pharmacy, which I had never heard of.
I called in and Tom answered the phone and gave me a full breakdown of how to help my doctor order the correct medication. He took a confusing and stressful experience and made it very easy to understand. The medication need was very time sensitive and he went above and beyond to help me get what I needed.
They were also incredibly reasonable, given my insurance didn’t cover the medication.
I cannot recommend this pharmacy enough. I’d give them six stars if I could.

I could not recommend enough the level Tom conducts business. He goes above and beyond the call of duty to make sure his clients are taken care of. My compounding hormones are top notch and nothing else compares. This company is a picture of integrity ! A+++

I just got some needed medicine. One of the few pharmacies in the area that was not interfering with the doctor/patient relationship. Excellent customer service. They were very cognizant about getting my medicine on time.

I was getting my prescription somewhere else and the price suddenly went up more than double. I called around trying to find it at a more reasonable price. I found OC Compounding Pharmacy (and Tom) doing an Internet search. I am so impressed with the efficiency and speed at which I receive my prescriptions in the mail and the reasonable price. Tom is amazing! I have spoken with him directly on several occasions. He is very professional, kind and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend this pharmacy. Don't hesitate to give Tom a call. Our doctor first prescribed Low Dose Naltrexone (LDN0 and used Orange County Compounding Pharmacy for Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS). While picking up the prescription I shared with Tom the CRPS pain to my granddaughter's foot. He informed me that he knew that a topical medicine that he had compounded for others with similar CRPS pain had helped without taking so many meds orally that could impact the liver, etc. He wrote out the compounding formula and we presented to our Pain Doctor. She agreed that it would it most likely help and it did! She now relies on this medicine everyday especially after a shower. Tom took his experience to suggest an option that would be less harmful than oral meds. This topical has made such a difference for her CRPS foot pain. There have also been times when we needed a refill and he has gone out of his way to get it to us quickly. I highly recommend Orange County Compounding Pharmacy and thank Tom for his professional and caring service.

We were referred to Orange County Compounding Pharmacy by Irvine Valley Veterinary Hospital when our sweet, older dog needed to begin taking medicine for seizures he started to have this past year. Tom was awesome from the first phone conversation we had regarding the plan for him compounding this drug for our senior dog. He is very knowledgeable, friendly and down to earth, and overall just so helpful in every way!! It's such a good feeling to have someone we can fully trust and I would recommend Orange County Compounding Pharmacy in a heartbeat!!
