So cute! Unfortunately we went as a rainy day activity on a Saturday and so did everyone else! So it was very busy. I will bring my daughter again when we come back to town. I get that it's a "musuem" but I don't love that you pay for every adult. Maybe 1 free adult with a child and pay for extra adults? Or adults a cheaper price. Just a thought. Anyways. You won't be sorry, that is a great place for younger kids and I highly recommend it!

My son caught Mono here. He doesn’t go to school or daycare so I know it came from here. Just take extra precautions with the little ones so they don’t put their mouth on anything or put their hands in their mouths. It is a super cool place for the kids but way too overcrowded and no one was walking around cleaning the toys.Update:You say that your priority is to clean but it’s not. I was there for 3 hours never saw anyone wipe down any surfaces except for the lunch room area.

Kid Heaven! We recently visited Pretend City in Irvine with our kids and their cousins for the first time, and it was awesome! The kids were all about it. Every new thing they stumbled upon, their eyes lit up. Pretend City is like this mini wonderland where the kids can let loose with their imagination. We had a blast at the farm area – super detailed, felt like the real deal. The fire station was a hit, and the grocery store was like a tiny shopping spree. But the water area stole the show – lots of splashing. For us parents, it was chill. The interactive stuff kept the kids busy, and we got to kick back and watch the fun unfold.Only downside? The hours of operation are limited and it does get busy plus they shut down at 4 pm, which is a bit of a bummer if you're trying to swing by after work during the week. But honestly, the good times made up for it. We're already planning a weekend comeback. So, if you're on the lookout for a spot for some family fun and learning, Pretend City is where it's at. Our crew had a blast, and we're definitely making it a regular thing

During our visit, the museum was significantly overcrowded, hindering the enjoyment for both the children and adults present. I would like to suggest implementing capacity limits for two-hour intervals to ensure a more comfortable and enjoyable experience for visitors.Additionally, I observed a shortage of staff available to sanitize the stations adequately. Given the current health climate, it's crucial to prioritize cleanliness and hygiene. I recommend reviewing and possibly increasing staff numbers dedicated to maintaining a sanitized environment.Unfortunately, a few days after our visit, my kids, along with my friend's child and nieces, fell ill. While I understand illnesses can happen, I believe reinforcing sanitation measures could contribute to a healthier environment for all visitors.

Crowded place, try to avoid during holiday season. It’s a non-profit organization, adults also need to pay for their ticket.Kiddos will definitely enjoy especially kids under 8. I don’t recommend for older kids as they might get bored.

Lovely place for toddlers or children under 10. An excellent way of team building, mind building, and interaction with different children or amongst the family.

The ticket is kind of expensive We try to use the membership of the Association of children museum but if don’t work out. The staff gave us a 20% discount which is still nice. This is a very crowded space - a lot of children. We wouldn’t come back here again. There are a lot of activities for children for sure. However there is nothing that I feel the equipment can stimulate children’s creativity and imagination. This is like a big playground.

My family and I love Pretend City ! Unfortunately it's way out the way but the visit was so worth it !!! Parents of kids aged 1-11 this place is highly recommended by my family. My favorite parts of Pretend City, are the Trader Joe's, the Mexican Restaurant, and the mechanic shop ! My one draw back was that I wish there was more ventilation. That would make the experience next level for me ! We will be back !

This is my son's new favorite place! There is so much to do for toddlers and young children. He can use his imagination, build, practice climbing stairs, play in the sand, do arts & crafts, water play and so much more. He had so much fun playing and learning. It is indoors too so it is a really great place to take him regardless of the weather. He liked it so much, I got a pass.
