I had the worst diarrhea of my life after this. I don’t wanna put the blame on them but it was the only thing I ate that evening. Beside that, the taste wasn’t even good. Like I would give 1 star even if I didn’t have diarrhea.

I ordered delivery and got the liang pi with beef shank. I loved the texture of the noodles but the sauce was wayyy too salty. I felt like I needed a gallon of water after the first bite. The sauce is also pretty runny so it doesn’t coat the noddles well and just settled to the bottom of the bowl. Most likely would not order again.

The taste is relatively authentic, especially the cold skin, roujiamo and mutton steamed buns. It is recommended that people who like Northwest cuisine give it a try here. I first ate at West Filed in Arcadia, and now another one is opened here, which is convenient for friends in Irvine.

The overall food itself was good, but the atmosphere isn’t the best as it may be crowded. Therefore I’d recommend sitting outside. The restaurant is mainly self-service and doesn’t require any tips. One bad thing is that the food here is pretty salty.
