Was there already twice today. Friendly and welcoming knowledeagle staff. Had to wait a few minutes but not too bad. Was able to get everything done I needed and taken care of.

I was blessed to be made eligible through my mother who was, in turn, eligible through her sister. I've banked at schools first for years with 0 issues. I'd argue it is the best bank. To my knowledge, it is a non-investment bank. It's more interested in helping is members, which then helps the bank, rather than gambling your money on the stock market. With its focus on helping is members, schools first offers great loans with low interest rates, and even if an interest rate is higher than you would like, I have personally found they drop overtime without me even needing to ask. I often visit this branch and have Found Jeff and Haley as well as other staff to be INCREDIBLY helpful. I will definitely be a lifelong member.

Terribly lazy in person support which defers to network admin to walk them through it and only cares for their interest in taking your money and defers culpability. An Inefficient system of negligence which can default personal actions and sends you to do the busywork yourself. Do not trust this bank with your income. It literally felt like a dystopian Orwellian novel dealing with them.

Literally the worst technology out of any bank or credit union I have ever banked with. I hate using my big bank and want to support my local CU but it's hard when its borderline impossible to navigate the website, open a new account, apply for a loan or do anything online here.It's very frustrating that in 2023, I have to do a test deposit to be able to link any outside accounts and then wait 2 - 3 days just to be able to move money around. Your entire online & mobile banking experience needs a revamp. Teachers are already pressed for time and overworked. Last thing they need is for their baking experience to take up more time and energy out of their day.

Join schools 1st said the family... it's great & blah, blah, blah! You want to know what's great? Good service at a convenient place with many locations, professionalism, kindness & honesty. Additionally, a phone app at a financial institution that ACTUALLY works & doesn't need a full re-set with an app update! Does schools first have any of these things? The answer is HELL NO! You wait forever to see an agent who has to reset your account because their phone app doesn't recognize your account anymore. After 30+ minutes of waiting you get an overworked employee who sends a code to your phone so you must reset your password. 4 minutes before closing time at the Fountain Valley branch I'm told to "go outside to use the card to see if it works" since they also had to reset that as well... it DOES NOT WORK! I was told they were closing but they "would make it work if there was a problem". I walk back to the door a few feet away as the same bank rep hustles over to lock the door! Like what the heck?¿ she avoided eye contact as I knocked on the door politely & said "hello the card doesn't work & I need money. The entire group of workers (including the manager who helped her figure out the problem was huddled near the door & the entire group plus management ignores me as well! I couldn't access money, I couldn't transfer money & no one cared! They just walked away!Like I said the female rep told me to try it quickly to make sure the card works when I could have gotten money inside the bank & tested the card afterwards. Sure I had a credit card but this bs should never have happened! This institution does not deserve 1star ffs !Luckily I ignored everyone who said Chase bank sucked & I should move everything to Schools First! There is a Chase Bank on just about every corner. I don't have to drive a city or 2 away from Newport either! Chase Sapphire I'm sticking with ya unless you do me dirty like Schools First! I get a$$ kicking good service always & that is how a great financial institution should be!

Chelsie from this SchoolsFirst branch was a wonderful help. There were a comedy of errors with one of my transaction with one of the operative, but after explaining the situation to Chelsie, she was able to resolve my issue and offered to make the situation whole with my transaction. She went above and beyond to help customers and first timer like me. Thank you so much to SchoolsFirst!!

We had the most pleasant and helpful interaction with carol the account member representative. She was very patient and explaining the various products offered by the bank and continue to stay past five to complete the task. She was helpful and patient. Her courteous attitude accomplished our banking needs.
