This was by far the best banking experience that I’ve ever had. I went there to open an account. Since the minute that I stepped in, everyone was so friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and willing to help me. One of the employees, So-Young, invited me to her desk, and she opened an account for me very fast and smoothly! She also patiently answered all of my questions about the other services of SchoolsFirst, and gave me many valuable advice. I went there to open account, I returned with a lot more, and ideas on how they can enable me achieve my financial needs.I told it to them as well, and I repeat it here: it was my best banking experience ever!

This is the first banking experience that has been a pleasure from beginning to endI even banked from out of state because I did not want to lose them . I can't say enough good things about them. I tell my friends all the time "I love my credit Union"

This is a great satellite branch for a great credit union. As long as you understand they are mostly going to help with the basics its a convenient location near UC Irvine that I've always found fast and staffed with friendly tellers.Their hours can be kind of spotty in the summer due to break. They are usually good about keeping their hours up to date but just be warned to check first.

This is a small satellite branch of the credit union, primarily to help students and staff with their accounts. The staff can provide most regular banking services, but may refer you to the main branches in Costa Mesa or Alton and University for special services like mortgage services.

Call center slow. Transfer for every little thing. Then wait ...and wait... Then thay tell you that can't help and transfer again. And Glad to see Santa Ana Branch improve. Thay put 2 more atm like i suggested and remodeled the rest room. No more cockroaches. Yay.

A person I know who is a customer of SchoolsFirst suggested me to become a member, but I had a very bad experience at this SchoolsFirst branch.

Updating my review since my one bad visit almost a year ago. Luckily, the representative that "helped" (actually, she was no help whatsoever) me during that particular visit doesn't work at this location anymore. All my visits to this conveniently located branch on the UC Irvine campus have been wonderful. The reps are friendly and some of them even recognize me by name - so that's always pleasant. I wished this branch had a coin machine so I wouldn't have to deal with going to a "regular" sized branch, but other than missing a coin machine, you can pretty much get most other things completed here like deposits, cash withdrawals, cashiers checks and money orders, as well as open accounts. If you're a school employee, I think their Summer Saver (which is a school employee benefit only) is at 4% this year - which is amazing. No other financial institution offers that rate these days. What's funny is sometimes when I'm being helped, due to the small space this branch is in - I can hear the angry customers in the space right next door - which is Wells Fargo, as they have a mini-branch at UCI too. Those customers over there always seem to have some sort of fee-related issue - which reaffirms my trust in SchoolsFirst for treating me like a valued customer, not just an account number. I'm glad my one horrible experience at this branch last year seemed to be a one-time thing, so I'm happy to update my review with the five stars that this credit union and location deserves!
