“I was in the neighborhood today visiting an old friend and on my way over to the Balboa peninsula I remember that there is an Up In Smoke store on the way!! As anyone who has read my other review of the store that was previously on Bristol was my long time place for all my accessories like hemp wicks, water pipes, papers, and all things smoking related. Today marks the day that I solved the quest to understand the connection of ALL the Up In Smoke stores!!
First, a huge amount of gratitude to Bruce who filled me in on Mike and Murad, who are the original people that own and operate the stores. I used to chat regularly with Mike at the Bristol store and he always was solid on hooking up the great glass!! Bruce and the other guys at the shop are incredibly welcoming and the store is impeccable. They have everything you need, especially if you're like me and "fumble" your "piece" and it breaks at the beach. OR in case you accidentally loose track of your papers and they get "donated" to the sand gods Up In Smoke is right there off of Newport Blvd South just up on the left hand side a little bit past the liquor store also on the left. You can also access the store on the North bound side of Newport Blvd just past 26th Street. There are pay kiosks for some of the street parking so be aware of it so you don't get a ticket.
The store has a great selection of pipes, water pieces, gear for vaping, also a nice selection of cigars should you be in "the mood". All the other accessories like protective bags for traveling with your piece, rolling trays, selection of tobacco for argile/hookah smokers, e juices, etc. Again, location, location, location! Literally steps from the beach, the bar, the restaurants, whatever your destination or reason Up In Smoke is right there for you. Enjoy!!!”

“I usually don't leave reviews, but when you come across genuinely good people like those at smoke and vape planet, you pay respect.. this has become my #1 go to shop. The guys here are super friendly and helpful and are a vibe.. They answer all the questions you may have and provide good suggestions. The smoke shop itself has everything you need. I personally get a geek bar vape and some 7-hydroxy mitragynine. They have the LOWEST prices. All of my previous smokeshops always end up raising their prices when they see me constantly coming back, but these guys have not. They also provide me with samples to try.. for FREE! Simply the best smoke shop in Orange County and san Bernardino county when it comes to the prices and products. Thank you guys.”

“EDIT: I originally posted a complaint (as I have NOT had good experiences with the man I believe to be the owner- in my experience, he's rude). HOWEVER- the young man who seems to always be working there is AWESOME! He is really nice, knowledgeable and friendly. My gf had purchased a nectar collector only to get home & find out that it didn't hold water.. so she immediately returned & showed him the problem & he readily helped her fix the issue. I always leave the store satisfied & you cannot beat their prices! It is the only smoke shop I go to... which is entirely due to the young man who works there! Def check the place out, you will see what I mean.”
“I decided to stop smoking before a surgery I was scheduled for. I figured e-cig was the best way to wean me off of the real thing.(It wasn't so much the nicotine, as it was the hand-to-mouth action.) I remember seeing their shop before, so I headed over there. The gentleman that helped me was very accommodating, showing me all the different e-cigs and oils. Then when I was having a slight problem with it, and I brought it back they immediately took care of it, swapping out the expired piece for a brand new one.
We talked over the specifications of a new bubbler that I wanted. (Their stock was a little limited to only a few styles.) They took my request to the warehouse so that we would know as soon as they find something fitting my specifications. These guys are great! Highly recommend them!”

“More than just a smoke shop you need to check out if you are in the OC. I happened to stumble across this place while visiting with a friend who lives nearby now I just can’t go to any other smoke/vape shop. I have high expectations especially when it comes to my smoking products and this place exceeds them.I make a 25 minute drive just to come to this place it’s sooo worth it.It’s very modern and sleek, it’s very clean and smells good. Their products are reliable and legitimate with all the proper verifications so I can trust what I invest in. They have everything you need that you see online.I’ve have purchased several glass pieces from here over a year ago and they are all in amazing condition.I purchased a Terp Timer from here which helps you dab at a perfect temperature. The item is an investment and it’s still holding up and functioning perfectly after a year as well.Most recently just purchased a Puffco Cupsy a discreet cup. One of the best discreet bongs.Customer service is phenomenal I bought a delta 8 disposable that was a dud and they replaced it. “Love the prices and selection. But only downside is the length it takes them to ship. Even if it’s just 1 bottle of juice be prepared to wait 3 days (most of the time it is 3 days) for it to ship :/. But other than that they have a great selection to choose from.”
