I got my cat spayed here and everything about my experience was perfect. They were very attentive towards my cat and made sure to get all her records from other vet offices and make sure she was up to date with all shots needed. The surgery went well and she healed perfectly. Highly recommend this location, especially if you need to get your pet to the vet on short notice.

Dr. Kelly is an amazing doctor! She genuinely cares about the animals & their health. Dr Kelly is very patient & goes above & beyond to make sure your furry friend is in the best health possible & has the best quality of life. I can not say enough good things about Dr. Kelly. Thank you for taking such good care of my babies!

Short staffed but friendly, attentive, and informative regarding my pet's needs. The office visit price is $70, I could've just went to my regular vet. I felt that I overpaid for Vetco

Avoid. Terrible service/policies, expensive. Took dog in for ear infection, they didn’t provide enough meds for their treatment plan and are charging me extra for their own shortage of the meds, with insulting attitude implying I didn’t apply the meds properly. They also want to charge a recheck fee to see the dog again after they failed to clear the infection.

Disappointed. New irvine resident who just moved here. We been here for 6 months trying to find a regular vet close by and caring for pets. And this vet office was much more of a inconvenience than helpful. Enter at your own risk. Good Luck.

I wouldn't come back here. I only came because my puppy needed shots and this was the only location with available appointments. The staff is nice and try to be helpful but the vet I saw had a bedside manner that left a lot to be desired. He was super brusque and hard to understand. He didn't explain anything. They were supposed to take a stool sample for my dog and then called me a few days later to say we needed to come back in because they didn't take the sample properly. I don't live anywhere near here and I couldn't take the sample to another location. Overall inconvenient. Also, I realized later that they sold me a lot of unnecessary items. I do not expect to be upsold things at a vets office. For that reason I won't be returning.

Gently gave my cats his shot and chipped his nails. Great place to get a little help for family pets. Nice and friendly nurses and doctors here.

Thrive takes very good care of my dog Kota . I've had Kota since he was 8 weeks old and now he's 8 months and I've taken him to thrive for EVRYTHING to vaccine shots, medicine, grooming, physical exams, when my dog is sick. They are always thorough with Kota and very affordable. I'm planning on getting a new dog and I will be bringing him to thrive.

I noticed that Petco in Irvine has a vet service called Thrive. I decided to try it since they allow one pet parent in the exam room. The appointment was easy to make with the Thrive call center. I have an extremely anxious cat and going to the Vet is usually a nightmare. Thrive sent me an online check in form via text to cut down on the red tape before arrival. I arrived 10 minutes before the appointment as recommended. They did not make me wait and after the tech took my kitties vital signs the vet (Alicia) literally came in within 5 mins. My old Vet would make me wait anywhere from 30-40 mins to get into the exam room and then another 25 mins waiting in the exam room for the Vet, which was almost unbearable for my anxious kitty. Alicia the Thrive Vet was knowledgeable and friendly and put my cat at ease. This was by far the best Vet experience I have ever had. Thank you Culver square Thrive!! I'll be back

I've never been to a vet like this. Truely affordable, kind staff, quick wait, and not reccommending everything under the sun for a quick buck. Easily the best vet experience Gandy and I've had. The staff seem to actually care, which should be the norm, but is, unfortunately, something that stands out. This will definitely be my go to for future appointments.

My experience today at thrive pet care in Irvine was not professional. I took my dog in for an early 10 am appointment was given one time that he would be finished and never recieved ANY updates from the staff regarding the longer than expected delay. I called several times and had to get updates, but even still there was a complete disregard for the need to communicate with me any updates regarding my dog's status. After 5 hours of waiting, I returned and the reception brought the dog out to me and passed him to me. I had to caught the doctor while going to see another patient to ask for any briefing on my dogs care and/or what services had been performed. Clear communication was not shown to me today and I had to question different people just to get updates. Definitely not a positive experience today.
