Living with them currently. They will do anything to scam and steal your money. St George fuxking sucks. Property has black mold growing everywhere, but it’s okay because they just repaint over it. Don’t waste your money or your time. This leasing company sucks.

st. george company as a whole takes advantage of tenants. the owner went on a tenant’s rented property (with out notice) and yelled +intimidated them. They are currently retaliating against tenants in iv who have been dealing with their rights being infringed upon all summer.

I am a current resident with St George, they have been ignoring us for 3 months in regards to a huge disruption they are causing around the property. They have violated multiple civil codes including committing utility theft, and will not work with us at all to remedy the situation.

This leasing company does not care about their tenants well being at all. As someone who has chronic migraines, they have been absolutely terrible in accommodating my condition during the loud, disruptive construction they commenced on our property. In addition to this, they have been committing utility theft on multiple accounts for months and we have proof to which they don’t respond to our emails about. Utility theft. Do not lease with Saint George unless you want your basic tenants rights to be blatantly ignored.

I am a current resident of one of their properties and they have been absolutely horrible to me and my roommates. They are completely unresponsive to multiple major concerns and have a complete disregard for our wellbeing and living situation. We have been trying for months to get things to change but they have been completely unhelpful and oftentimes rude. I would not recommend living at any of their properties.

I am currently a resident with St. George and it has been a living hell for my housemates and I since we moved in this summer. There has been many problems do to constant construction that has been happening on our property for 3 months (that we have little to no information on). We have been trying to get in contact with the company and get little to no answers. I have been paying lots of money to not live in peace for the past 3 months. Do not live under this leasing company.

THIS BUILDING IS A SCAM!! Upon check in on 7/25/22, my daughter and her roommates received their keys and were so excited until they opened the door to their apartment. It is unsanitary and uninhabitable. Nobody has done anything at the office to get this apartment cleaned and move in ready. My daughter has been crying everyday over this. How can an apartment be turned over in this condition at $7,000 a month is beyond belief. The furniture is ripped, coffee tables broken, desks broken, beds mattresses stained, urine on the carpet along with filth. Just everything disgusting. I would rather give no stars but wasn’t sure if the review would post!I stumbled upon the CFO’s number who said send a message to the office. Send a message!!! Get on the phone Mr. CFO and take care of this! Btw, he blocked me after the first call. He wouldn’t want his kids living in an uninhabitable space while going to College! The Dpt. Of Health will be contacted along with any other agency to rectify this situation. I am attaching a few photos so other parents are aware of this.Distraught students and very concerned parents!

I’m in my third year with St. George and Associates and I would give 0 stars if I could. While the staff in the leasing office is nice and tries to be helpful, the owner of the company, Ed St. George, is a student slumlord who does not care at all about his tenants. I’ve had numerous issues such as them painting my windows and door shut in 90 degree heat and not fixing for three weeks until I threatened legal action (I was going into the leasing office every 2-3 days asking nicely but after 3 weeks of being unable to stay in my home comfortably and even having a friend black out from the lack of ventilation I was more than fed up), towing my car from a spot that I payed 100$ a month for, and building a fence in front of my driveway without warning and refusing to explain why. They housing they offer is definitely misrepresented as well, I was told I was getting a fully furnished apartment with parking and of course none of that was true, they finally provided me seating after weeks of me going in every other day to complain and after I signed the lease they suddenly said that parking was just an amenity and they had the right to take it away. Additionally, they raise the rent every year as much as they can, my rent went up 300 dollars a month for a terrible apartment. Never live with St. George and Associates unless you truly have no other options!!PS: the issues that the company has are really not the fault of the staff in the leasing office, they are always friendly and helpful, but the way the company is run from the top is absolutely terrible

These people are thieves and they lie!!They charged all 250 students in my son's San Andreas complex $50 each because ONE person parked in front of the garbage dumpster ONE time. That's $12,500 for blocking a trash truck. Now they are keeping the $500 security deposit for EVERY student. My son left his space better than he found it and they are charging us $500 for carpet cleaning. This is insane. Unfortunately they have a monopoly on affordable housing so my suggestion is: Don't go to SBCC unless you can afford better housing.

Just got out of a lease with them by the skin of my teeth. They are highly unorganized and way overpriced. I felt pressured by my daughter to sign a lease because her friend was living there. One week later, she got into her preferred college. I let them know right away, but they told me to post it on Facebook, otherwise I was on the hook for her entire year (16K) rent. They did absolutely nothing to find another tenant, and never updated me on the status. I was really stressed that I was going to have to pay for the lease. They finally let me out because one of their agents casually told me she would cancel the lease. I know how it is when you don't know the area and they seem to have the market on these apartments, but I would stay way clear of this organization.

Thus far, NOT impressed with St. George Associates leasing. They do not accept nor return phone calls and this is VERY unprofessional. I am a parent who is attempting to pay fees for my daughter's housing this Fall. Their payment website is flawed and I would anticipate that cyber security is lacking as well. The St. George team should be embarrassed by the lack of professionalism espoused by their employees. St. George's website mentions "Yelp Reviews" which I find disturbing as they seem to be aware of the problems but aren't resolving them. stgeorgeassociates.com/h… Lastly, here is dialog sent to me in an email from St. George Associates, they're also aware that their payment portal is flawed: " This email will have important information in regards to your lease for next year so please save this email if needed! 1. Payment information: RENTcafe will be your tenant portal for the year! This is where you can submit payments and make maintenance requests. You should have received a link to login along with your guarantor. If the guarantor is having difficulties logging in with their own credentials please ensure that the tenant has logged in successfully first. Registering your account may be confusing at times so do not hesitate us or ask to set up a call! "I hope that this is resolved soon. I was looking forward to my daughter having a positive experience with her college housing. Payments are due on 7/1/23 so perhaps patience is needed here. Good luck to all others who are also dealing with St. George Associates leasing.

we are paying rent for the house, on milpas Santa Barbara. we have reported on many occasions the problems with the unit, the man who comes to check, never does anything, he only makes temporary fixes and the problem returns, the manager said that the owners would come to check the unit and they don't come, nor is it fair to be struggling and paying expensive rent for a unit that doesn't work.

A developer making Santa Barbara into L.A.. There's a reason why everyone hates this guy and why there's so much backlash against him now trying to turn Santa Ynez Valley into his private Los Angeles as well. He has enough money, he should move somewhere else... Like L.A.

I wanted to come on here and share my experience with St. George & Associates. I lived at Beach City and had such a good experience. I made so many friends here that will be with me for the rest of my life. Their events are tons of fun, and I really appreciated the amenities and the distance to SBCC. Also shout out to the people in the leasing office who are always super helpful!

My daughter lived at Beach City and we had a very good experience overall. Being in another country while your child is studying abroad can be very stressful, but the team at St. George made the process much easier and she was extremely happy with her living situation! They have a lot of international students which is fun because they get to meet people from all over the world.
