Upon arrival, we waited 15 minutes as they couldn't find our reservation. Should have been a clue! Our reservations were booked and paid through our Coast to Coast membership but the clerk at the front desk demanded an additional $35 per night which she said was for electricity. So we ended up paying $85 per night which didn't include any internet (another additional charge). This place is a dump. It is more of a trailer park of almost homeless residents living here full time. Everything is in need of repair. I took a shower this morning and had to turn on the hot water full blast without using any cold water just to get it warm enough to take a shower. Bathroom looks like it was built in 1950. One of the two men's restrooms did not have any hot water at all. The restaurant is run down, too. They didn't have any propane so our choice for dinner was either hot dogs or hamburgers. Service was good, burgers were good but served with potato chips. Again, everything is scaled down to the minimum and absolutely no ambiance on what you would call a "restaurant". I don't know where they get the idea to call this place a resort. It's more like a "last resort". Keep driving and find another place that actually cares about their clients and what they offer.

Had a Great Experience staying here! Called in to set reservations, the staff was friendly, I got the gate code the day before checking in and when I arrived I drove in and parked at my spot. We stayed here the beginning of October and the park was not packed. I hear summers are the time of year this place is packed. But it was nice that it was quiet, My wife and I stayed here to visit some friends that have a boat about 5 minutes away. We spent our days out on the water and our evenings here. They have a pool that I wish we would have planned for but had no time. They have miniature golf and volleyball courts too. Lighthouse bar/restaurant is across the road and a great place for food and drinks! During the summer I recommend getting a shaded area as I’m sure it gets hot. Our area was nice and level and the grass was green and made for a great spot to hangout in the evenings!

Great place to camp with super sweet management. My family stayed 3 nights and we were happy overall with the whole experience. The only thing I would ask is that they get better Wi-Fi because they charge $4.99 a day and it's not good at all.

My band, The Boots and Heels Band, played at the restaurant last night. We had a fantastic night. The owners were on site and they were two of the friendliest people I've met in a long time. The pizza was delicious and the restaurant and bar were clean and inviting. The patrons were ready to party and dance, they even helped the band load-in our equipment. I can't say enough good things about this place. Go there and enjoy. I knew I'll be back.

We were there for a large event l, had a great time with everyone. Due to the management changing plans and shutting things down, I HIGHLY DOUBT the the Event organizers and all of their following will EVER return. Especially after charging $100 per night. This was a big mistake financially, considering the organizers were excited about possibly booking their annual weekend long music festival there next year, which people from all over the country travel to attend.Way to go Lighthouse Resort!

More of a camping resort than an actual hotel but pretty big lots of fun has mini golf and a decent sized swimming pool for those who don't want to swim in the river has a boat launch access near a few small
