Double room. Upon entry, room had exceeded my expectations. Super clean, no smell of anything. Bathroom super clean! Bed sheets felt clean and were super white. No stains. I recommend !

Edit: Reply added after your response. I have yet to hear from anyone regarding this issue even though I requested from staff to hear from someone immediately as well as your response to reach out to me directly, no attempt has been made. I went ahead and left an email, hoping to hear back from someone. I will make as many attempts to hear back from someone otherwise I will be disputing the charges with my credit card company and requesting chargeback for false advertisement and the unsanitary conditions we were met with.
Original Review:
The location was very convenient, especially for out-of-town guests attending special events. However, the stay was disappointing due to several avoidable issues.
First, the lighting in and around the property is quite dim, making it hard to locate the entrance — easy to miss if you're not paying close attention. Once inside, we found that only two towels were provided, which was insufficient for our party of three. Oddly, those two towels were later taken and not replaced. Most guests, especially women, typically need at least two towels each, so this lack of basic amenities was frustrating.
The most serious issue, however, was the ant infestation in the room. There were ants on the beds, tables, counters, and in the bathroom — literally everywhere. We couldn’t even leave a bottle of water uncapped without ants crawling toward it. I brought this to the staff’s attention, but they neither offered to move us to a different room nor followed through on their promise to “wipe things down.” No attempt was made to truly address the problem.
It’s unfortunate because the location is ideal, and we frequently come to this area for special occasions. But this experience was ruined by a lack of cleanliness, poor response from staff, and no consideration for compensation or accommodation given the circumstances. I will be reaching out to management directly and hope they’re willing to make this right.

This hotel is infested with cockroaches! We did not have other guests staying with us and we had ONE dog that THE COUNTY said they would pay for.

Stayed for a night, clean rooms and friendly staff, my room was upgraded , I had a comfortable stay and felt well rested.
They have a pool, There’s a Dennys diner at walking distance, full breakfast is provided for the guests theres eggs, sausage and bread, cereal waffles and coffee. Cafeteria staff was very friendly and helpful.
The day I stayed there was an issue with the tv cable service provider which was a bummer and it didn’t work even the next morning. It should have been resolved.

McKenzie is amazing! She provided great customer service and I am very happy with my stay. Best Western Amador Inn is a safe, dependable, with a delightful breakfast buffet.
A great bed to rest your head.

My second time at this place,clean,quite.lots of construction workers come and go but plenty of parking with access to hwy 49(casino) 15 mins away,rooms look to have been renovated 👌🏿

This hotel does not qualify for 3 star. There are people sitting outside and smoking. I had to forgo my reservation after checking in.

I was scared 😩after reading reviews. Room is cozy and clean no roaches yet that I can see . Parking lot is dark and dark spots . Smells like coconuts 🤗 bed is clean and spot free . Quiet so far . I’m happy 😊 oh and no crack heads thank god 🤗

Whenever I’m in town for work, I always choose to stay here. They offer excellent corporate rates, and I’ve never had a single issue during my stays. The staff is always incredibly friendly, the rooms are consistently clean, and the breakfast is a real highlight. They typically serve hot options like eggs with bacon or sausage, and sometimes biscuits with gravy and breakfast potatoes. They also offer waffles, a yogurt machine, and a variety of other breakfast choices. Having a good breakfast is important to me when picking a hotel, and this place never disappoints. I highly recommend Amador Best Western to anyone looking for a comfortable stay and a hearty breakfast to start their day. Thank you to the entire team — keep up the great work!

We meet my brother there on occasions at Denny's for a quick visit as he does my computer repairs. We've never stayed at Inn. That's just our halfway meeting location for visits, and we eat brunch together and visit for a couple of hours. The food and service are always great. Our oldest daughter and granddaughter live in Jackson and, on occasion, will also be able to visit.

Worst hotel ever. Maid service rude, check in the reception was rude, and I had water coming out of the floor boards, did not offer a new room or anything until I was leaving early and refused to give me my money back for a day. I get the no refund but that room was a slipping hazards for anyone. Bad customer service! Will never stay there when I come back and visit my family!
