I wish they never closed the Ione branch..the lines in the one in Jackson are horrible! Only have 2 tellers..the one in ione had 3 or 4

I have been with Golden 1 Credit Union, Jackson for nearly 30 years. Since the Ione Branch closed, our branch has had an extremely endless, long line, pretty much any day you go in. The manager, Stacey, will sit at her desk and gab with a co-worker, who appears to be on his lunch break, all the while turning away customers inquiring about opening new accounts (I watched as it happened, twice, this afternoon). Such horrible customer service, especially seeing as only 1 window of 3 were open today (Stacey should be working a window!). GET IT TOGETHER, Golden 1, I’m about done with you! Sadly, this has been my third issue with this bank in regards to lazy customer service in the last 6 months. Too much competition out there to have such a horribly managed branch as the Jackson Branch.After finally getting to the front of the line…40+ minutes, Stacey informed me she’s not allowed to help customers even when the bank only has one teller working because she’s not on that system. If this is true, it is a PATHETIC business practice and NEEDS to be changed! Wow!***Update!!! I talked with Stacey’s supervisor, Charlene Short, and found Stacey lied to me. She is able to help customers and is expected to do so when needed as in the above situation. Stacey should also be walking the bank regularly talking to her customers. Integrity is everything, Stacey.This situation is pretty eye opening if you ask me. Most honestly, if things don’t improve quickly, it will be time to walk across the parking lot to a friendly, more customer centered bank. I can’t continue to wait 30 to 60 minutes, on a regular basis, in a line to do bank business.

Staff is very friendly and they work very hard to make their customers happy, I always enjoy their attitude and customer service skills.That being said, something needs to be done for their lines going out the door... trying to meet with a teller on your lunch can eat up over 30 minutes of just waiting in line.Great place to bank, but very frustrating lines.

I think the bank employees are excellent. Very friendly. You feel welcomed (unlike Wells Fargo in Jackson). Never rushed

Worse bank ever. They put a hold on my check for 7 days and release date was suppose to be 11/1/2022 guess what they lied now I am being told the back office put a permanent hold until I showed proof that the check cleared at the other parties bank account. I went to the branch and gave such proof and when I call the customer service line asking why the delay and when I should expect the $$$ to be release I am told they never got it. I saw the lady emailed it to them. Now I have to waste another day of my busy life going into the bank to ask why the back office didn't get the proof. F****** b******* if you ask me , it's f****** illegal for the bank to put a permanent hold on my check and not even cancel the transaction so I can go elsewhere. They couldn't even tell me how much longer they'll be holding my own damn check/$$$. I did as I was told to get Proof the check cleared at the other bank which is ridiculous that I had to do their own job.

The branch manager was courteous and quick helping me with my special transaction. The branch is clean and on Saturdays not as busy.

Worst customer service I've ever had at a bank. Most every time I go to this branch I get an indifferent attitude. Have to make an appointment to do almost anything--to add my husband to my acct. when he was with me. Had paperwork mailed to me (customer service with the toll-free number is excellent) to avoid another 30 minute drive from Pioneer to the branch. When I tried to drop off the signed, completed paperwork to the manager, she told me to wait in line. I insisted she take it b/c I refused to wait in the long line since she didn't have a member in front of her. Acted like she was doing me a favor. Exception: The blond long-haired lady has always been nice and respectful toward me though when I get her as a teller. Hope she can't ntinues to be that way, and becomes manager (if she wants the job).

If I could give ZERO STARS I WOULD! I come here every single month to pay my rent on the 1st habitually... There's one certain teller named MARY who seems uncertain on how to deposit money into an account number with her name. She insisted I had the wrong account number. So I had to pack up my things(after waiting in a huge line) drive me and my baby home grab my lease and past rent receipts( which have the exact account # I've been saying to her!) I go back inside after waiting in another huge line. I get helped by the other teller and she gets it on the first try. NEEDLESS TO SAY AT THIS POINT IM FRUSTRATED. I told her this MARY lady has done this exact same thing to me three times now. Mary barges in and said I tried the account number six times. Which is one unprofessional but two not my fault she can't do a simple job like depositing money into a checking account. This place sucks ESPECIALLY Mary. If I didn't have to pay my rent here every month I WOULD NEVER RETURN.

Wonderful customer service, all staff have been very helpful, lines are a bit slow, but that's expected, being that this particular bank is smaller than many other banks.

Extremely bad customer service for a well known bank. Do I recommend this branch to anyone else? No I won't especially when I witnessed how they treated my girlfriend, they refuse to assist her in setting up her online account, refused to give her bank statements even she agreed to pay the fees for the service. We had to drive to Sacramento to be able get statements and setup online banking. What a shame!
