Does not respond to voicemails or the online contact form (from her website). Contacted Susan in March 2023 and May 2023 about her tax services. No response. Cannot comment on her tax services just her lack of communication.

Heard good things about this place so I decided to try her office this year. I wasn't impressed with the service I received and will go back to my previous tax preparation service that I used last year. I believe these folks are professional and they did an accurate job but there was a lack of customer service or appreciation at least in my experience. I've had much better experience at every previous place that I have been. I also received a check refund for the first time in 5 years because the tax preparer I had, Patti, did not even bother to verify with me my account and routing numbers. When I came to pick up my taxes and pay, the lady at the front desk was warm and friendly but I didn't even receive a simple hello from the person that did my taxes even when she looked right at me. There's so many options out there, to not have someone even acknowledge my business certainly won't bring me back.

Susan specifically has been extremely unprofessional regarding our businesses over the years. I decided to move to another firm and when I formally notified her she blamed me for their mistakes which ended up with the county placing a lean on my property despite my constant reminders to fix her mistake. my company is now undergoing a random EDD audit and she is refusing to comply with EDD, she even hung up on the agent doing my review when he was requested only a couple documents from her that she's required by law to provide. Susan is demeaning and unprofessional.

I've been with this office for many years. When I wanted to buy a home they went above and beyond to help me prepare for that next step. So thankful for Sue and her entire team.

All I can say is STAY AWAY! If I could give them a minus on the stars I would. We tried them for 3 different tax years & there was a problem every year. First year they didn't report all of our interest income. An amended return had to be filed & they actually charged us to fix their mistake!!! Who does that? Final year she completely failed to include my income??? Hello, isn't this your job? People come to you because they assume you know what you & your staff are doing. Of course we received a very nice billing from IRS, we didn't even bother letting them know because we had absolutely ZERO faith that they could/would fix the problem. Now waiting for a billing from the state so we can also pay for that mistake!! Again stay away from this establishment, they will wind up costing you additional money & they could care less.....

Wrong address. Lady charged $125 to just input my info into an app after first mistakenly putting the wrong return. I'll just turbo tax next time

We have had the pleasure of working with Susan and her team for many years. They are always ready and willing to help with any questions or concerns we have. I feel blessed knowing I have found an accountant that is awesome at their job, I can trust and that is also an Enrolled Agent!

Susan and her team are the best! They are on top everything for me for my business and for my family. We have been with her for several years now, she is quick and organized, very well versed in her industry, sweet to talk with and personal, she takes care everything. Sandra who is part of her team is amazing, communicates with any questions I have, and takes care of my business. Without them, I wouldn't where I am today. Thank you.

They're great! Their family has been in the tax and accounting business for over 50 years. The people there are great and the services are awesome! Sue owns three different locations as well. One in Cameron Park (which is this one), one in Folsom and another in Jackson. I highly recommend them to do your taxes from short to long forms and they are also quick at it too. If you're looking for someone to do your accounting and book keeping too, they are also amazing in that area. :)

Susan Becker is the best CPA ive used by far, I go to her every year just booked my appointment to do my taxes this year, A-1 Tax service with so much experience and knowledge, don't hesitate to use here for filing your taxes or any other tax related services.....

Susan has the most experience of any CPA I have every worked with. Although I haven't seen her this year, I have used her in years past and she is so passionate about her job and will always do what is best for the client. Ask her about her experience, you will be blown away! Can't wait to give her another review after I meet with her this month.

If you're like me and get very nervous about taxes, the IRS, etc., Susan will put you at ease. Experienced and extremely knowledgeable, she took care of my seemingly major issue and did it all within about 20 minutes while I sat there. Very impressed and will be doing all of my financial/tax business through Susan. Highly recommended.

My former CPA had made some mistakes on my tax return which caused an audit. I employed Ms. Becker to handle the audit for me in her capacity as an Enrolled Agent. This meant I didn't have to deal directly with the IRS. She handled the whole thing. I was very impressed with her representation and with the results. I discharged my former CPA and am now using Ms. Becker. I can highly recommend Ms. Becker.

Had to update. Things went so wrong. The papers that were filed were not the copies given to us in the office. We were told we would get a large refund and ended up getting less than half. The office was totally unprofessional handling the situation, would not call back, then requested I bring my copy in that was immediately taken away. Blamed the problem on software difficulty. Told us the correct forms were filed, and would not call back when they fied the wrong state tax forms. Told us it would take an additional 6 months to get our state return since we now had to re-file a ammended version via mail. To add insult to injury they lost our tax copies from last year. When questioned the receptionist said somebody else probably took them. Alarmed, Susan said they are probably around here we will call you when we find them. Filed late January and still no word. Would not use them again, nor reccommend ever!
