If I could leave no stars that's exactly what I would do all the employees in the pharmacy are extremely rude. And they take days to fill prescriptions even though you've been told to come get your prescription it probably won't be ready! Horrible experience every time I go. They used to have things together but not now. I thought I'd give them a third try but they just flat out suck. Won't ever be going back.

unfortunately not once has this pharmacy had my prescriptions ready. Even though i always call three days ahead of time, my physician has already called in the prescriptions and still never ready. Today i was there at 12:45 (well before lunch time) and again two prescriptions were not ready. The female helper (pharmacist helper) barked at me and said....WE ARE ClOSED For lunch you have to come back"!!!!! she wasn't professional, unkind and quite frankly rude. This pharmacy has a few good folks working there. just need more help with manners. Sad for a small town that needs the public support. Isn't there any room for improvement?

Scheduled my husband and I for the Covid shot. We drove 25 minutes to get there, and one very rude staff was "We aren't doing vaccines today." When I asked why she was again very rude and said "They were short stuffed." End of conversation since she walked away. Working in fast food, and other hospitality jobs I get it. However there were other ways to speak to a customer or patient when your short staff. If she would have said "I'm sorry, we don't have enough staff to do vaccines today." And when someone asked about their appointment could have said anything about how they don't have away to cancel them. At least acknowledge that people. If she would have at least said that they were short staffed in a nicer way I would not be writing this review. As is, since I work in a field that deals with staffing issues, as well as other people's mistakes being blamed on you I understand, but I don't understand is the rudeness to a person who only got in line and asked why..

Safeway gives you the option of having your prescriptions mailed to you. The mobile app reports that everything is good to go. A week later the prescriptions have not been delivered. I call and find that it never got mailed because of a system glitch. That happens, but it would be nice to get a call so I can arrange to pick them up and not miss out on taking my meds.

By far the slowest and worst pharmacy I've ever had to get prescriptions from. The staff moves at an incredibly slow pace no matter how long the line is. Last time I was there the line went all the way back to the bakery. Even though that is with Covid social distancing that is still an absurd amount of people waiting considering there were 4 people behind the counter chatting away and 1 person on register. Glenn is the worst of them. He will stand there chatting and laughing with coworkers and if he actually does get on a register he makes you feel like garbage and stupid with the transaction. I am now waiting another 10 minutes after waiting 15 minutes in line because after I received a text message that my prescription was ready I am now told that it isn't. I would recommend going to a different pharmacy but unfortunately for the community this is one of the only ones left. My hope is management from safeway will review input from its customers and resolve the issue. Extremely disappointing considering I now have 3 people waiting on the side with me because they too got false notifications.

I just had thee worst experience at the Safeway Jackson pharmacy I have had in 30 years. The line - while my groceries were melting - was 45 minutes long and the prescription I needed wasn't ready. After paying for my groceries and putting them into the car I came back and they gave me a different prescription and told me that the one I wanted "won't be in until Monday". (today is Friday) Safeway is 20 miles from my house. Dozens of people were fuming. An older wheelchair bound man got a page from his wife in the car (hot outside) and had to leave before his was ready. Unacceptable doesn't even begin to cut it.

The service has always been extremely sub par here, lines are usually long since they only ever open a couple check stands no matter how long lines get, and it just seems to get worse. The other options in town have way better service.

I'm a former Kelly drugstore person. After they closed I struggled with CVS. I have had not a single problem here!! They are busy but I never wait to long.

A big shout out today for the beautiful work of the bakery. Look at this gorgeous cake for out granddaughter's swim party birthday. And...it was beyond delicious. The Safeway Bakery always comes through. And the best part, we could afford it for a very large group of kids and their parents.

Safeway pharmacy really drops the ball on a child in need. First they tell me they dont have her whole prescription and to come back the next day and they will have it. I come back and they agsin dont have it no call no nothing. Then they tell me i habe to find another pharmacy that has it and i have to get paperwork faxed to them and I have to do all the foot work that they should be doing. Then once i do all that foot wotk and get it faxed to the i can't get ahold of them to confirm they got it. I called over and over for 20 mins with no answer then call safeway customer service only to be told they answered her call but not mine. Now my daughter has to wait 2 extra days to her her meds she NEEDS. Wow way to go safeway

They don't have their act together. They text you that your prescription is ready when it is not. They don't tell you if they can even fill your script before you wait hours, then will not even call you to say they made a mistake and can't fill it after waiting for 3 hours. They don't apologize for wasting people's gas that live further away for sending false text alerts.
