“I found my new dog (Oreo 2 - now Max) here. I live in Stockton and thought the personnel friendly and helpful both on the phone and during my visits. The shelter was very clean and the animals well taken care of. I appreciate that they are careful before adopting pets. They checked my references, home and yard before agreeing to let me adopt. My new dog is perfect and is now in his forever home. Thank you to the Humane Society of Tuolumne County and their personnel.”

“I love this place! We bought some chicks here this Spring. The people that helped us were so friendly and knowledgeable! They helped us select the chicks and all the things that we would need to care for them. They offered advice on how to care for the chickens for the next few months while they are still tiny and fragile. It was the real 'Ma & Pa' small town experience that is so rare to find these days.”

“It's a homey Barn like structure.great for summer,if it's not too hot and I would like to see it upgraded somewhat.the folding chairs that have been provided for the last 4 years are not comfortable at all! I was pretty crippled up after 2 hours of sitting on them. But at least they were willing to be open!, when most places are closed! All and all it's a great place to be if you want some place to take the family and experience that western atmosphere and check out the little train that you can ride on great fun for all!”
