Can you do your patrons a favor and update your hours of operation so next time someone needs propane they can show up before 730PM which is when your employees stated they shut down propane every night. Apparently 732PM is way too late to get propane at a store that closes at 8PM. Or is that a made up time of the closing of operations? The sign on the door said open til 8PM with nothing mentioned of special propane hours. Would save your patrons trips. Thanks!

I drove 30 minutes after calling ahead to ask if they had stall mats in stock. Upon arrival they were unwilling to help me load them because I didn’t have a truck. I have a large SUV that would fit them just fine (have done this multiple times before), and they said they’d sell to me but I would have to load by myself. I let them know that Mary’s Tack and Feed gently rolls the mats to load them for customers and their response was “well that’s great for them”
Unimpressed with the customer service here.

I've been coming here for about a year and the staff is very friendly and helpful. I don't know all their names but they work in the morning shift. Was there last week and there was a guy there very friendly and respectful.

Great store. We get our chicken feed, dog food and cat food here. They even have a farmers market every Saturday in the parking lot.

What kind of business doesn’t have a trash can outside? 1 star for the sourpuss cashier lying about not having a trash can when I’ve literally used it before. I’m just trying to dispose of my dog poop but it sounds like they’d rather I just leave it outside

Pet wash station closed due to plumbing issues per older employee today 12/10. I should have called before arriving and saved myself a trip. Call!

I recently adopted an adorable bunny and have been researching supplies. Pelletized pine beddings were suggested and at $7.99 for 40 lbs at TSC, highly economical. While my husband and I aren't always in the Jamul area, the 20-30 minute drive from Chula Vista isn't too bad and I appreciate that they have a decent-sized parking lot. Usually, the pelletized pine beddings are outside and typically, readily available. However, if this is an item you mainly go to TSC for, it doesn't hurt to check if it's in stock on their website. There was one occasion that my husband and I dropped by and they happened to be out of stock. However, the staff here was very helpful and assisted us with finding a suitable replacement until we could come back for the pelletized pine. It's also fun to go inside and see the cute seasonal decorations. Not going to lie, I was tempted to get one of their Silkie Chicken Christmas decorations. Other reviewers have also mentioned that there'll be baby chicks for sale, which I hope to see the next time I drop by.Overall, happy that there's a TSC relatively close by and has this great item along with other great items/supplies/equipment. Will be a repeat customer for the pelletized pine but most likely going to get some cute Christmas decor for the holiday season.
