I came to FHL for tdy and was pleasantly surprised with how much the commissary had to offer. The manager, Nicole, and her staff are super nice and helpful. I took some photos and added them for reference.

As other have said, this commissary is on the small side...but it's mighty!I was able to pick up a few items before a field deployment and managed to find everything I needed.I appreciate the staff's helpfulness in assisting me with looking for a few items.I wish they had a little more room however, feels a little cramped.

One of the smallest commissaries I’ve been in, but it does have the essentials and the staff are really helpful and friendly.

For the size they have a surprisingly good selection and amount of stuff. Way better than I was expecting and the staff is super helpful and friendly. Nit sure what those that gave it a low rating where expecting. This is a super small base in a remote area. Perspective goes a long to realizing how good it is.

Only good for if you live on Fort Hunter Ligget. Do not expect fresh fruit and vegetables to last long from here.

This is a great commissary. It’s small but the produce quality and variety is excellent.

Very friendly staff and a nice selection of quality groceries for such a small commissary.

Everything. I have been going to FHL for over 50 years Hunting, Fishing, and Camping. Love staying at the camp at the top of N/F rd. and exploring the Indians

The Barracks lights turn off and stay off at 2200 hours. As students of both civilian and military classes it is very difficult to study in darkness.

I recall going to FHL while on Field training exercises (FTX) while assigned to 3rd Battalion 17th Infantry out of Fort Ord California! it's a delightful post! I loved the chapel, the rugged but scenic terrain, and Mission San Juan Bautista! Great memories!

Small shop, good snack selection. However does not sell dip. Also can only buy carton of you smokes. If changes let others know.
