I would rather just say that casa Luisa is an amazing place /bnb. The owner Joel O'Connor and I just don't get along . His way of treating his employees is not something I agree with . Contrary to what Joel says about me or my work at casa Luisa , he did not terminate me , he simply refused to pay and let his ego take over and I left . He has had so many different managers and cleaners and workers when there should be no heavy turnover for any reason . None of this really matters though when it comes to reviewing casa Luisa . So, with thag said , Joel did an amazing job with all the personal touches and heart he put into his casa Luisa .. he made a beautiful home /vacation rental . The yardis breathtaking and is very much a desert oasis. . The beauty of casa Luisa and her surrounding yard is very much a treat for any vacationer . Definitely recommend the property for the beauty alone .

Great place! It was such a nice house, the pool and jacuzzi were amazing. There are also lots of places to lounge and a fire pit! Will definitely go back!

Great host! Communication was good and the stay was great. The place itself is so cute and everything went smoothly.

I usually never stay at a home when I vacation, but I made an exception for Casa Luisa because it felt like a resort, particularly the jacuzzi and swimming pool area and the outdoor landscaping. It really felt like an escape. Our favorite was night swimming under the stars. I also liked how close the place was to the entrance of Joshua Tree National Park which we visited all 3 days of our visit . The interior of the home itself was clean , modern and very welcoming and the kitchen was well stocked . The beds were also very comfortable which is a must for me . I highly recommend this place, 10 out of 10. The owner, Joel was very helpful and responded right away to any questions we had re: house and the area . Review by: Dorothy Deguzman MD

This is a beautiful oasis in the middle of the desert. I thought I wouldn't like the area, but the house was the perfect location, just 4-6 minutes away from Joshua Tree National Park. The owner was extremely accommodating and made sure we felt welcomed by the time we walked in the door. The welcome gifts and amenities were so thoughtful and the home was just aesthetically pleasing. You could tell the owner put so much thought and detail to every inch of the house. From the names of the rooms, to the decor, the colors and artistic designs -- it was such a relaxing place to stay. The backyard was favorite place to be. There is a pool, hot tub, meditation area and patio. There is also a fire pit area for night-time bonding. If you have a small group, this is the perfect place to stay when you visit Joshua Tree. I had such an amazing stay and time. I would definitely return.
