Thank you Zarrin and Starman Steve for a spectacular tour of Joshua Tree and the universe! Zarrin has profound knowledge of the geology, geography, biology, and even rock and roll lore of Joshua Tree which he weaves into a truly engaging visit all while scrambling over rocks and climbing up formations. Steve knows his night sky and showed us views of the moon and Saturn, Vega and the North star, as well as many constellations that we would never have understood on our own. We even got lucky and watched the Space Station streak across the night sky at just the right moment.
Oh, and Zarrin cooked us some great food for dinner.
This is the most five star tour I've ever been on! Thanks guys!

Such a nice treat to have a private guide as knowledgable as Jacob! We loved joshua tree and learned a lot while hiking through just before sunset. We ended the day with Star gazing Steve who toured us of the night sky. Thanks for the wonderful 5 star trip.

We went on a nighttime tour with Zarrin and it was amazing! Zarrin was extremely knowledgeable and helped us see & appreciate so many parts to the night sky with both our naked eye and the telescopes! Would recommend this excursion to anyone visiting the area. It was remarkable!!

Zarrin was a great guide and very skilled climber that made us beginners feel safe. He took us on a hike where we got great views and didn’t see another soul. We hade a great time. He’s also very knowledgeable about the area. Awesome day.

We did the hiking and rock climbing day with Zarrin. It was so great…he had an immense knowledge and love for Joshua Tree and it really made the day wonderful. Most importantly, one of our party became really scared of the height when we were rock climbing. Her fear became enough that she needed to descend. Zarrin showed us how trained he was in dealing with someone who was scared and took her down so that she could feel safe. His professionalism and skill were needed in this very tense situation. He made all of us feel that it was going to be OK. We were all able to continue climbing when she descended, have lunch and continue the hiking day. This was only possible because Zarrin made that tough moment something our group could get past….as he said…the psychological is real! Can’t wait to do the astronomy tour next year when we come back.

Zarren was a very thoughtful and knowledgeable guide, Jacob was so great with our kids and also knowledgeable. Our astronomer Steve was incredibly patient answering millions of questions from the kids, this team provided unforgettable experience for our family at the Joshua Tree.

As a group of 11, we booked a private astronomy experience and it was amazing! Beyond the amazing environment, our JTE guide Zarrin Leff was top-notch in every respect. He was great with everyone in our group from the 7 yr old up to the 70 yr olds! Zarrin is extremely knowledgeable, helpful and was a tremendous host and guide. Thanks Zarrin and JTE for providing such a memorable experience for our family!

Our adult family had awesome time with hiking, dinner and star gazing. Beautiful place, interesting hike, wonderful guide Jacob was great fun and full of info on flora and fauna. Star guide Zarrin was a star. Highly recommend.
