I love Angel, she is a great, smart, and she truly cares about every animal here. Many years ago I adopted my very first senior dog and had the best years of her life with my family. as dogs do she crossed over and we waited a bit before we were ready, and she again found my family the perfect dog, she too is a senior. I hope anyone adopting look at seniors they truly need a home more than a puppy, and they do love you, and they show so much appreciation for adopting them. Also senior dogs need us to take that first step in taking them home and giving them their forever home. The whole staff there are very helpful and very nice and will do anything to help you in your journey in finding you a perfect fit animal for you and your family. This place is AWESOME, alot of hardwork goes into helping you. Thank you for reading. ANGEL, WE LOVE YOU HERE.

The mobile clinic is great. The help owners by offering a low cost vaccine & spay & neuter clinic They have great group of people working for them .Professional & courtesy. They care a great deal for the pets & owners. I can rave on & on about how great they are. They are actually in it to make a difference in the pet population & are a friction of cost then to typical vet hospitals. Thank you for such a a caring atmosphere. I will be seeing you again soon. I make a 160 mile round trip from Apple Valley to get my feral cats spayed & neutered .6 ⭐♥️ all the way around .Thank you!

You could not ask for better people who do so much with so little money. Spend a lot of time and energy saving these animals. That jerk with the negative comment was angry because the people at the shelter wouldn’t give them a pet because they have rules. They know when pets shouldn’t be adopted. Just because you want a pet doesn’t mean you should have one. Please donate if you can. They truly deserve it. Thanks, Martha’s husband.

We were on vacation and brought a cute puppy that someone unfortunately abandoned here. They were knowledgeable and helpful. I hope our little puppy friend finds a new home! Angel was such a great person to talk to and she helped guide us and we really appreciated it.

We were assisted by Angel (the angel) in adopting a dog from the shelter that had belonged to a dear friend who passed away. Angel is so compassionate and helpful. Amazing since she is now the only employee at this location.

Animals can't just be "Certified as Service Animal" without an actual true need and qualifications, and there must be real regulations. Tenant misrepresented her ONE dog as a Certified Service Dog. I said that our Insurance precludes Pit Bulls. She assured me that it was gentle, had a certification. I asked for the Certification, stated that the dog had to be indoor, or chained, not roam. She said she'd provide the Certification and put up an enclosure. The next day, she sneaked 3 extra persons and 6 more Pit Bulls. Always loose everywhere. Lied. Said the extra people were just helping her move in, and the puppies belonged to them.... Sometimes she said the people and puppies were gone. They never were gone. They are still here to this day. There NEVER was any Certification. That Pit Bull was NEVER a certified service Dog. 8-10-21, The Pit Bull came here, grabbed Bijou by the head, viciously attacked her, tortured her to death, and injured the two of us. Bijou was crying and crying, and we kept trying to save her........ The Pit Bull would not let her go. We were botten, scratched, injured, black and blue.... Bijou died 3 hours later in agony. We mourn. We miss her so much. It feels as if we lost a child. No one understands. The world sees a dog. We see Bijou. Jewel of our lives. The sparkle in our days. She had a name, a personality, likes, dislikes, habits. She talked to us and we talked to her. We kissed her, praised her. She was EXTREMELY important to us. The Tenant never paid the $1800. Vet bill. Said she would... Just false promises. She never asked how Bijou was, or how we were... She won't get rid of the Pit Bulls though it is now proven to be a killer, a vicious danger.... it is endangerment to everyone else... She says that she can get Humane Society to give her a Certification for all her Pit Bulls as Service Dog. She breeds them for money pbviously.......... This certification process has gone out of control. Online, a man has an alligator with a Certification................... An other has a pig................. Can I rent a house to someone with an alligator, a pig, a Pit Bull? With or without a Certification, the answer should be NO. Some animals are not intended to be domestic animals............ Some animals pose an extreme danger to everyone, their children and pets..... In Chicago, this young couple had a little Pit Bull...... They loved it. Then, they had a new little baby........ The baby cried and it set off the Pit Bull. The Pit Bull viciously attacked the baby......... We KNOW how dangerous Pit Bulls are............. Why play with fire. They will snap, attack, injure, KILL........ If you want to argue that some are gentle........ Well, that's what this tenant said. If you want to argue that "it has a certification"... Well, that's the misrepresentation from that tenant............. NO PIT BULLS should be allowed on any rental property of any kind. The Humane Society needs to understand how INhumane it is to enable the vicious torture of Bijou, and to ignore her death... Bijou's death is an irrefutable warning, a proof, evidence that all Pit Bulls are more than likely to snap, bite, attack, kill..................... same with alligators.... and as for a pig living in a rental unit? Let's get real... Where is the Health Dept..? The rules are that Pit Bulls must be neutered, licensed, have Rabies shots, not roam........................ Animal Control is informed that NO Pit Bulls are allowed on this property. Our Insurance precludes Pit Bulls. Everyone is endangered. Yet, Animal Control can't remove the Pit Bulls though they are not neutered. All they can do is fine the tenant................................ So, we are all endangered. We have to evict the tenant to get rid of the dogs. Nuisance 1161(4)....................... As a Society, logic should prevail, and rules must make better sense. If you lied, and the Insurance says no Pit Bulls, and your dog kills and injures... then, the dogs must be immediately removed before anyone gets hur

Drove there a day after Yucca Valley shelter advised us to come there for adoptable dogs and completed adoption application online. Nothing on website about dogs not being adoptable. After we arrived at the shelter 20 minutes after their advertised opening time, their sign says they're closed and to complete adoption application on line but that they're not adopting any dogs out.The door was open so clearly they could hear us. Girl in scrubs made eye contact but ignored us. No communication whatsoever. It's sad because the ones who really suffered here are the animals.Online it says they're hurting for funds but I saw no indication once there they wanted any extrinsic patronage to keep those dogs alive. It's almost 110゚ outside and the smell of dog urine wafts through the air. You'd think they'd want to give these dogs a nice cool home ASAP or at least communicate on their websites why they're not adopting dogs out. I suspect it's primarily being used as a detainment facility while owners are reached or prosecuted. But communication is a must if they expect support. Not going back there or donating my money or supplies.
