Worst post office I’ve ever been to! PO Box issues. Lack of organization and unhelpful staff. Packages never available on time. Please improve training, organization, and manners or shut this place down!

Jason was very helpful with a mail question while I was traveling internationally. This was a very important package so it meant a lot to me to speak with a friendly person and get the help I needed. I’ve also just always had a positive experience with our post office and PO Box, which says a lot because I previously lived with an individual mailbox — I thought having a PO Box would be a huge pain and it’s actually been great. Thanks Jason and the Joshua Tree post office team for being awesome!

The friendliest staff available. This particular PO does benefit from not having too many customers at once.

I love this place. Hometown customer service and meticulous organization. My packages never get lost and they are treated with care. The parking lot is spacious and the place is so clean. I can even get my greeting and gift cards in the lobby. The staff is warm and gracious. The fees are reasonable. My only complaint is that it takes about 18 h for your package to get logged in and to be received, as they get so many packages to sort through, you have to wait until the next morning. That's ok, I can manage through that, as long as the packages arrive! Thank you, USPS staff!

I thought that UWS Manhattan had the worst post office in the U.S. but alas have found a post office that beats them. By far the worst experience with just about everything: receiving packages, letters, we are constantly battling delivery here

They refused to allow my wife to pick up my mail despite a signed letter of authorization, the tracking number, and both my and her legal ID.

Just another useless US post office, not delivering packages to a paved suburban neighborhood. If you work for USPS, please do everyone a favor and quit. Let the ship go down fully - we don't want or need one that doesn't even function properly.

This is the only governmental Department is providing a service to the community with the exception fire. I wish your standards of ethics washed off on the branch of government I won't directly name, but they have dirty dirty hands and the men running the show wear dresses to work and the were known to also wear wigs ....#savethechildren

JT resident of 19 years and 21 in Morongo Basin. Funny story... When I lived in Yucca, I would drive to JOSHUA TREE! because the service was so great. Presently, I go to the PO a time or two a week and know all of the postal workers. They are all great people working under deteriorating conditions. Fewer people, heavier workload, new policies, and a Postmaster General who is driving the best postal service in the world... Into the ground. Just yesterday, the new guy, Jason, took care of an elderly woman who wasn't able to do ANYTHING herself. He assembled the box, place the items in it, taped it up, addressed it and handled the financials. SMILING the entire time. I've witnessed customers abusing these hard working folks on innumerable occasions. The abuse they suffer is uncalled for and, IMO, reflects more upon the customers and the times we live in than the postal employees. Take a deep breath. A simple 'Please' and/or 'Thank You' will get take you far in this world of ours. And remember... Never has a statue been erected in honor of a critic. Life is good. :)
