Julian Market & Deli is a nice market with a larger selection of items than expected, including deli food, groceries, cider, apples, and accessories. It has a full upstairs with clothes and misc items. The food is good and cheap, with delicious fresh deli sandwiches and excellent fried chicken. Some items like produce and cider are tourist priced. The employees are very friendly. It is an old gem with everything needed, from first aid to fresh butcher meat, and has great decor.
They charge a CC fee. Employees are not friendly. Gear store is better resupply for PCT hikers.

If you try to buy groceries in Julian you'll go broke and starve to death no matter what store you go to. Yesterday I went to this market and bought four oranges for $6
