The on-site restaurant offers great food and a bar, with delicious burgers, fries, and a tasty apple dessert. Guests praise the friendly staff, who are accommodating even to dogs in the restaurant. The resort features a full-service spa, with massages described as "one of the best we've had, ever." There is also a trout pond for catch-and-release fishing, and numerous hiking trails nearby. Guests can take advantage of AAA discounts starting in October. While the cabins are a bit outdated, they are well-kept and have a rustic, classic cabin feel. Guests appreciate the full kitchens, though note that they are required to wash dishes and strip the beds upon checkout. Overall, the Double Eagle Resort & Spa provides a wonderful getaway with its beautiful setting, great food, and excellent service, leaving guests eager to return.

My first Vichey scrub folloed by a massage was amazing! The perfect blend between a relaxing massage and rejuvenating body scrub. Kate is so friendly and knowledgeable! She explained the whole process up front so I knew what to expect. This will definitely be a part of my regular wellness routine!

This place is a gem. The location is stunning, but what really sets the Double Eagle apart is the people. We experienced exceptional customer service throughout our entire visit—the staff is professional, welcoming, and genuinely attentive. It made our trip to June Lake even more memorable. We will definitely be back!
