Vernola Park is an absolutely huge and true gem, offering a serene escape into nature. It features a great size walking trail, a track-like trail to walk, and a wonderfully wide path that is perfect for a stroll, run, or walking dogs. The park is immaculately clean with green grass, vibrant flowers, and an area with playground equipment. It is a great place for softball and baseball games, with base fields, plenty of concrete seating, and some shading areas or huts to sit under. The concession stand is very reasonably priced. Visitors note adequate parking and that the park is refreshingly uncrowded. However, there is no ramp from the bathroom area down to the softball fields.
This park was absolutely huge! There was nobody there and it had a track like trail to walk that was perfect to take my two dogs for a stroll. The grass was green and there was an area with playground equipment and huts to sit under for eating or resting. I had such a great time and so did the furries.

Adequate parking, nice playground and good size walking trail. The base fields are great with plenty of concrete seating. Some shading areas. But best bring your own pop up.
