This resort is right on the waters edge, an older motor inn style resort past its prime but still functional, clean and served its purpose. Finding the place and check in was a little tricky but its doable. Theres a phone number on the front door of the old lobby, I called and the young lady said shes be there in five minutes. By the time I parked and sat there a minute or two watching the water, when I got out of my car ahe was pulling up. Checking in a breeze, and the room inexpensive by comparison. quiet and peaceful, in the off season, I stayed on a night over while in the area. There were only a couple other people in the place that evening so it was a very chill night with the evening rains and fog on the water. The room basic but clean and the bed comfortable, the parking is front door and the only thing between you and the water is the parking lot 3 Stars served its purpose for the evening 00912

Stayed at resort from Oct. 31, 2023 to Nov. 2nd. Could not contact office as no one was in the office. Just got a message saying to call the number on the office door, which of course you cannot see the number on the door. We had to book from a second party which cost more. We got to the resort and called the number on the door, talked to Elizabeth, who gave us the information to get in the room. She sent us wifi-passwoord, which came up with password not correct. Called Elizabeth they would not answer the phone thus things I had to do I couldn't. We were there to fish during the day. Boat ramp was covered with plants, ramp was really steep. Room, clean towels in rack were damp. This was the worst stay I've ever had in a resort!

, The location near the lake is great, few steps and you are on the pier , this is .also bit problematic since the parking is public and some noise might occur When we arrived, there was no one in the reception , and they provide complicated explanation how to find the key for the room.. not so convenient. The room was big, clean and well equipped .

Clean rooms, albeit old. We were upgraded and not sure why, but it was nice! Had a cabin.

i don't think housekeeping even change bed sheets at this hotel, hair everywhere, dirty and stained carpets, this place could be cleaner and hotel could be more pleasant to stay with their beautiful lake views...

Great place. Absolutely fantastic service! They go out of their way to make the stay comfortable! The view is breathtaking and the lake is just steps away with lots of options for those that owns boats!A little hard to find using Google map. The address takes you to a private residential area. Just back up and turn right, away from the convenience store and then you can't miss it.

This is our 4th time at Clear Lake and our 3rd stay here, we absolutely love it here!! The fishing April, May, & June (today is 6/3/23) is a lot better than when we came July, 2022 (gotta watch for that algea bloom). We dont have a boat but havent needed one! But also the staff here are super friendly & accommodating (bags of ice, room selection - thx again!) This is a place you get more than what you pay for ?

One Saturday afternoon our septic started backing up into our house. Unfortunately, the septic people couldn't come out until the following Tuesday, 4 days away. There was no way we were going to stay a minute longer. I think I called every hotel, motel and B & B around the lake but everyone was asking $150+ for a night. We just wanted someplace to lay our heads at night and take showers in the morning not break the bank. Just when I was about to give up I made one last call, which was to Clearlake Vista Resort and had the pleasure of speaking with April. After explaining our situation she went beyond to help us. First she cut the room rate by more than one-half. Along with the regular amenities (i.e. coffee maker, air conditioning etc.) you would find, they also had a washer and dryer available for customers to use. I’ve never been so excited about washing my clothes. The room was a decent size. Big enough so we weren’t tripping over each other. There might not have been mints on our pillows but who wants mints when they can have super soft sheets to crawl between. And the towels were extra big and so incredibly soft. Although the weather was cold and rainy the property was exceptionally clean and tidy. I'm looking forward to a visit in the summer when it will be under better circumstances. If anyone is looking for a clean, reasonably priced, comfortable place for a mini vacation, come stay at the Clearlake Vista Resort, you wont be disappointed.

For the price I paid I enjoyed the place, however, it's not as advertised. You can tell this place (including the town around it) used to have more love than it does now.

Stayed here frequently this summer. The resort has been here for years but recently changed owners. There are very few guests during the week, but usually is full on weekends. Lots of people being their boats or fish. The rooms are sufficient with good amenities like a kurig coffee maker and a mini fridge. The furnishings are worn. Overall, it's an affordable family vacation option in a charming area on Clearlake that has seen more prosperous days.
