I cannot say enough about how great my experience was here. I called in the morning for an evening appointment for a cut, and they close at 6 PM, but she agreed to take me at 5:45 which was the earliest I could make it there. She was immediately accommodating. When I arrived, Theresa was kind and quiet and asked me what I wanted for a cut, and I told her I had gone in with unwashed hair and did not ask for a shampoo, because I didn't want to keep her any later. The shop was clean and quiet (there was no one else there). We connected over knowing the same small business owner near by, and she reminisced on some fond memories of him and his family. There was no pretentiousness or unnecessary up-selling, I don't even know if she sells any products lol. She told me about how she started the shop 15 years ago, a very humble story. There was no pomp and circumstance, she didn't even part my hair. She worked very quickly, and she showed me the results when I was done. I was concerned about how it looked because it wasn't styled. However, when I got home, I straightened it and it turned out. She did a fabulous job, and I will DEFINITELY be back. If you're tired of paying a minimum of $100 for haircuts and you want a great cut, go see Theresa. The price MORE than fair and way, way less than other salons in Marin. Please tip generously, it will still cost less than a cut without tip somewhere else.

Highly recommended. Been going here for years. You get what you pay for but in a good way. Simple haircuts. Usually not too busy. If you call and tell her you are on your way she will put you in the queue. Not sure about more complex women's haircuts. She cuts me and my sons hair and it's always what expected. Even if you modifying the instructions, she gets it. Beware of Supercuts.

Teresa is a treasure! My sister and I have been bringing our 85 year old father to the salon for haircuts ever since he moved into a nearby assisted living facility in July 2018. He is suffering from dementia and isn't always easy to manage. Teresa's gentle manner makes things easier all around. And, her haircuts are reliably good at a very reasonable price. I recommend the salon and Teresa unreservedly!

I've been going to Seasonal cuts for a few years now. Teresa is a quiet souls but I have found if you engage her she is ever so willing to talk about herself and her two daughters. Being a refugee from another country in the seventies she is ever so appreciative of her new found home. I've gone to the $50.00 so called men's haircut salons locally and frankly she does ever as good a job and perhaps is better than most. For the money you can't go wrong. She has gotten even better over the years as she learns what I prefer and uses a thinning shear now. I don't have to give her any directions.. $22.00 including a tip!

Seasonal cuts is a great location for a quick and easy haircut. For the price, it is an absolute steal. Now, if you are looking for a conversation and an "experience" this is not the place for you. Note: Cash or Check ONLY!

Hole in the wall! More like a gem! Great deal on wash and blow out $30. Plus tip! Teresa is quite and efficient she does whatever you want. I go weekly. ..this is a no frills shop frequented by regulars and word of mouth patrons, moms with kids on Saturday. $20. Haircut for adults cheaper for kids! It's a great little secret!!

When I lived in the city, I went to 77 Maiden Lane and when I moved to Marin, I went to Cooper Alley. Both did a great job but it cost me over $70 for a haircut (I'm a guy, so that's pretty expensive). One day, needed a haircut in a hurry and couldn't get into Cooper Alley before an event that I needed to attend, so I took a chance and went to Seasonal Cuts and I've been going there ever since. The owner is generally the only one cutting hair and she does a great job, and she only charges something like $16. I always give her a $20 and let her keep the change because I think the haircut I get is worth well over that amount. I seldom write favorable reviews about places that I like because I don't want them to get overcrowed or to raise their prices, but I really appreciate having Seasonal Cuts so close to my home and want them to stay in business during this difficult economic situation.
