Being a Kenwood resident, I am ever so thankful for Kenwood Village Market. It offers most things a full market sells, with prices somewhere in between Safeway and a typical convenience store. Whether you’re grabbing a quick snack or planning a meal, it’s a convenient spot to visit. The market is located at 8910 Sonoma Hwy, Kenwood, CA, 95452, and their hours of operation are as follows:
Monday to Friday: 6:00 AM - 9:00 PM
Saturday: 6:00 AM - 9:00 PM
Sunday: 7:00 AM - 9:00 PM

Bought a plastic wrapped muffin and one bite in noticed fuzzy mold growing all over it. Also completely inattentive deli staff which is why I ended up with the muffin in the first place. Avoiding in the future.

Price gauging going on here. Charging almost 2x the advertised price when you get to the counter. Should be investigated!

$3 for a small coke...really ? None of the prices are marked intentionally throughout this 7-11 type store. And when you do buy something the price is skyrocketed. Meat looks rotten. Deli is gross. Bananas sit there rotting, bread is smashed...this place is just looking for 1 time tourists to buy their super expensive huge selection of wines. Yuck...why did I go there ? Don't know, but I wont go back when I'm driving through Kenwood.

Walked in and the place smelled off. The meats were discolored. The deli counter was closed- luckily! We were going to get some drinks from the cooler but some were way past expiration date. The man at the cashier never got off his phone to even acknowledge us. Terrible

Do yourself a favor and drive a few miles up and hit the Glen Ellen Market -- way better managed and quality sandwiches. I've been stopping here for years, between job sites, and the management hasn't improved in over a decade. More often than not you have to wait for a human to show up in the deli, and even at check out! You're getting two stars instead of one because they actually have the best deviled eggs I've ever eaten.

Super high prices and a cashier who can't be bothered to get off his phone long enough to even ring you up, much less return a greeting. I've tried several times, I'm done. Consistently horrible.

Check your receipts carefully if you have to shop here. They overcharged me, then when I pointed out the error, they refused to refund the difference. Charged me $1.69 for a 69-cent bag of peanuts, insisting that it was $1 for 2 bags and $1.69 for 1 bag. When I pointed out that it is printed on the package $1 for 2, 69Cents for 1, he rang up the purchase again and charged me $1.49, sang he was unable to do anything else.

Check your receipts carefully if you have to shop here. They just charged me $1.69 for a 69 cent bag of peanuts, insisting the price was $1 for 2, $1.69 for one, even though it is printed on the bag that one bag costs 69 cents! He refused to refund the error, and rang up the purchase again, charging me $1.49 for the 69 cent bag, saying that was all he was able to do! I know, it's only 80 cents, but still.... Just watch out if you have to buy something here.

I stopped in for a snack while passing through this lovely little town and was greeted by a very friendly and knowledgeable young woman named Kristi. She was so nice and helpful. She suggested a wonderful bottle of wine to go with the delicious sandwich she had prepared for me. I've traveled the globe and I have to say that I hope my travels bring me back to Kenwood.
