    “My doctors office recommended Alpha Care, so I decided to switch over from Walmart. I like to support small, local businesses whenever possible, but also because THEY DELIVER!!! The pharmacist & staff are so sweet & amazingly accommodating. They bend over backwards to help you. They were able to switch my perscriptions over in a matter of minutes & I had refills THAT DAY! You can even dispose of unwanted, unneeded, expired medication here! Being able to shop shop small & local is awesome enough, but to be able to find a place that actually cares about it's community & the people in it is priceless. Highly reccomend!”

    “Five stars for the pharmacists who are very kind and knowledgeable. Even on busy days they are polite. As for the pharmacy techs I believe some are polite and courteous and some need to find other professions as they seem so bothered by working there.”

    Loblaw Companies Limited is putting serious money into its retail network this year. Canada's largest food and pharmacy retailer announced it will spend $2.4 billion in 2026 to open new stores, renovate existing locations and strengthen its supply chain. The company plans to open 70 new stores in 2026. That includes 34 Shoppers Drug Mart and Pharmaprix pharmacies and care clinics, along with 31 hard-discount No Frills and Maxi grocery stores. On top of the new openings, Loblaw will renovate another 191 stores and continue construction on a roughly 1.2 million-square-foot automated distribution center in Caledon, Ontario.
