11301 Kernville Rd Suite C, KernvilleThis was recommended by a friend who camps a lot in Kern. It's a small burger joint in the area. Me and the wife both had the mcnally burger. It was perfectly seasoned. Fries has good portion. Their shakes we added malt in it was so good as well. We were 8 in a group and theres three small tables inside. We all fit. Lol. Outside has great view as well if you want to bask in the sun while eating your burger. I highly recommend!

McNally’s General Store
1941 Kern River Hwy, KernvilleI enjoyed an outstanding steak dinner on our week of camping near the Kern River. It's outside of town, a nice drive north about 15 min from Kernville, the food was great. The service as on point and the portions very good. If you eat in the patio, the views are great in the enclosed patio. The steak was cooked to perfection and was great treat while camping. They also have a mini market, burger stand and motel.

French onion soup like dad would make is enough to go back but the steaks. Oh man are the steaks delicious.
Two steak dinners and a brown butter cake for dessert, for less than $100! Please and thank you!
Excellent staff and a wonderful atmosphere. The view of the river is spectacular.

11401 Kernville Rd, KernvilleThe food here is absolutely amazing. I'm deathly allergic to tomatoes, so it was really nice having alternative sauce options. I ordered the chili verde pizza & was blown away. Staff was also very friendly & were very mindful of my allergy. I can't wait to bring my family here when they come to visit. Will make a trip toe Kernville just for it.
They have lots of seating options, both inside & out of the restaurant. I wish we could have stayed out on their lovely patio as it was covered in lights, but it was just a little to chilly at the time. Bathrooms are clean. They also have an arcade. Many of the machines are down, but they have a few options if you're feeling old school.

13415 Sierra Way, KernvilleBest place to eat in tow. Tritip sandwich was good, big daddy burger and fried pickles were super good!! And try the Octoberfest beer if they have it. Service was fast and frendly.
