“Okay so... I was unpleasantly surprised that Dollar General is not a $1 only store, but it does have good prices. I went at night and was scared I might be in a bad area, but most of the customers were families with children or teenage girls. All the cashiers at the time were women so I felt safe there. Nice selection of stuff, including some tasty ice cream varieties like twinkies that you wouldn't expect to see at a mini mart. Clean, well stocked.”

“Cheap cheap for kids school last min shopping, just bring N95 to breath in here lolThe cement floors need maintenance, cleaning in front of the nail polish , needs to use acetone to clean that up . Just curious why are the drinks always empty? Do merchandisers refill not these? Benchmark with five and below , and other cement flooring businesses, cement is easy to clean just needs consistency. I'm sure corporate has been asked for this but , if corporate is reading , the vents are not acceptable dude.”

“Just wanted to say thank you to the cashier Carrie at the Mc Henry location. I had just finished going through her line when I realized I had left my atm card at home. She was so sweet and put everything aside for me till my husband could arrive with my atm card. Then, she had to ring everything back up and bag it all once again. $80.00 dollars worth of stuff I felt horrible!! But she was so sweet from begging to end. “This store is refreshing to walk through most days. Once and awhile, shipments come in mid day or mid-shift and employees put away what they can, leaving the rest for the swing shift crew. I notice a good amount of work has been done by all shifts, managers included. A lot of smiles and eye contact. I am impressed, to say the least.”

Its always well stocked and the employees r very helpful and courteous.i give the 5stars 2the young man that works evenings.hes fast patient greets u when u walk in.great service. There's a lady that works that has an attitude and acts bothered if asked something.never smiles and is rude.especially to people that had a lot of stuff and customer uses the coupons.well those take a few min 2 go thru at register.she gets impatient and an attitude.not friendly.but the young man with black hair is a very good employee.”

“Prices are good.Staff was friendly.Store was stocked well.Fairly clean for the area.The only thing is they have a lot of homeless people hanging out and the area can be quite a bit sketchy. I know a lot of parents lately have been letting their kids run around the store without any intervention from the staff. But that's just bad parenting not the stores fault. But I would suggest it's not very safe in the area if you are by yourself.”
