I come up to north Lake Tahoe a few times a year. Lanzas makes the best minestrone soup I've ever had. I love it here. The neighborhood charm. The old school style classic Italian American food. I got Easy kind service, from a family owned small business.

Great italian homestyle restaurant. Like mom use to make! Well not really, I am not italian! So better. Sorry mom. Great service, friendly, and again the food was awesome. Lasagna, pizza, and the sampler was great!. Even the ribeye was perfect.

The food was amazing! We started out with a salad with a delicious dressing and cheese topping and then enjoyed the eggplant parmigiana and the chicken parmigiana. We would definitely eat there again!

Fancier Italian spot in Tahoe. Plates weren't cheap but it is a lot of pasta for what you're getting. Having a salad or soup so the the pasta helps make the cost more justifiable. Overall pasta was good. The butter garlic was not well seasoned but I enjoyed the marinara sauce served with the breaded mozzarella and calamari steak strips. My favorite would be the appetizers. I had a large group of 9 and service was a bit on slower side that night but we got all of our food at relatively the same time. A solid option in Tahoe

I believe a great restaurant experience starts and ends with the service, Heather was amazing!Despite being incredible busy she was very attentive and helpful with our large group. The food was solid (don’t go in expecting fancy) and the portions are enormous. The atmosphere was cozy and classic with Italian American flare.

Service is attentive and the atmosphere is old school Italian American. The dishes are heavy and that exactly what I needed after being outside all day.

Remembered this place from back when I lived here. Back after a decade, this place didn’t disappoint. Everyone in the group loved the place. Meatballs were amazing. The minestrone soup shined as well.

Classic, vintage ambience. Attentive and rapid service. Huge servings, both the included salad and the lasagna. Prices reasonable, particularly in light of the huge servings. Two normal people could have split what I had and been satisfied. $8 Sangiovese, totally acceptable. Only one problem: The food was tasteless. Bland. Tasted of nothing. It wasn't terrible... It just wasn't anything. I liked this place. I wanted to like it more. Three stars unfortunately is generous.

Really delicious appetizers and pasta. Their service was responsive and friendly, but their pizza seemed like a freezer pizza and left a lot to be desired.

This is a very cute place, but ... the food quality and presentation is very strange. A lot of the dishes kinda just felt like they have a huge pot of marinara sauce and beef that they just plop into all of the dishes. Come here if you're okay with paying around $30 per dish for HUGE portions of pasta with a little bit of sauce. Some saving graces: I like that all of the entrees come with a side (either the soup or salad)! The soup was so good, and the salad was fresh and a great portion size. The service was super friendly and attentive. FOOD [3/5] ---------------- + Lumaconi (3.5/5) I like the idea of this dish, but the pasta shells were hard and not cooked very well. The beef was also a little dry and not as flavorful as I think it could be. + Custom: Ravioli + House Meat Sauce + Meatballs (2.5/5) If you look at the picture... it just didn't look very appetizing. It feels like a bag of frozen pasta was cooked to heat, with a bunch of sauce plopped on top. The raviolis were good but they weren't life-changing.
