I can't speak highly enough of massage therapist, Belle Johnson. I came in with all kinds of tension and pain and left feeling like a new woman. She intuitively knew exactly what my body needed and delivered it with such empathy and kindness. Do yourself a favor and schedule with her.

I booked a 60-min massage with Paula and it was incredible! She was attentive to the type of pressure I wanted, and worked out all of my knots. This was very much needed after a few days of skiing, and post-massage, I was in better shape than ever when back on the mountain the next day. The space itself is very peaceful and calming, plus a dedicated parking lot which made it easy. My boyfriend got a massage with Kathleen and highly recommend her as well!

On a recent get away to Lake Tahoe, I was looking for a massage place online. I came across The Sanctuary and seeing that it had all five stars made me a bit skeptical. However, my body was in desperate need of a massage and they were able to fit me and my husband in for 90 minute massages. Well oh my goodness.....we both received wonderful, deep tissue massages that were so good that we went back two days later for another massage. I had two different therapists. They were both amazing and gave the best massages I have had in a long time. Each therapist had their own style of music which was a nice change of pace. The studio itself has several massage rooms, is very clean and welcoming, A yoga studio is also located in the same space. I will most certainly be back and highly recommend Denisa and Belle. I did not get my husbands girls name, but he too was extremely pleased with his massage. So don't let the perfect rating cause you to hesitate, just go get the most amazing massage ever!

My friends and I came yesterday morning and got a 60 minute massage. Kathy was my massage therapist and she was so friendly, attentive and gave an amazing massage! It was so relaxing that I dozed off during my massage and she definitely massaged and stretched sore muscles and knots within my shoulder area. My friends were extremely happy with their therapists and massages as well. Would highly recommend and would definitely come back!

While on vacation in the Tahoe area, I had a wonderful massage with Denisa. She was super easy to talk to and very kind. The massage was somewhere between deep tissue and Swedish, which was exactly what I had asked for. It was relaxing while still focusing on my problem areas. The building is a beautiful space- a hidden gem! Highly recommend - I will be back during my next visit.

Had an amazing massage there. My therapist was Brigit and she was super nice with good vibes. I really enjoyed my massage with her. The place is very peaceful, quiet and clean. The ambience and decorations were amazing. I highly recommend it.

Must go!!! I am someone who gets regular massages and hands down Anthony gave me the best massage of my life! Amazing pressure, hit all the right areas and I was soooo relaxed. I want to go back already! This is a must try place. Super clean, cute and hands down the best! Thank you!!

This place is amazing! One of the best spas ever! The massage therapist are very in touch with your health and provide helpful advice on stretches to better support your back and body. April gave me one of the most relaxing massages ever that left me so relaxed I wanted to just take a nap on the massage table . There are 6 of us and everyone agreed that our experiences were the same, superb! We highly recommend Sanctuary.

Was looking for a relaxing, serene massage place around Kings Beach and after calling several places I discovered the Sanctuary. It is wonderfully serene place with nice people. Anthony gave me an hour long massage and I walked out feeling relaxed and chill. Going back for sure.

The most therapeutic massage I’ve ever had! Naomi was wonderful and so very attentive to the tension/tightness I was holding in my shoulders and neck due to breastfeeding. I feel restored. I highly recommend her!
