“I rented out the North Tahoe Event Center (NTEC) for my wedding on 5/28/26 and was so happy with the final product. My wife and I had a dream of getting married in Tahoe but were struggling to find an affordable venue. We then stumbled upon NTEC and decided to tour the venue as it was within our budget. We were totally blown away by the view of the venue (right on the beach) and felt comfortable with their accommodations for our big day. They continued to support us during the planning process but as the wedding was getting closer the forecast was strongly supporting a rainy day. We were quite disappointed with this is our dream was to be married outdoors but NTEC made every effort to keep our ceremony outside. Despite the rain they still let us use their arch/chairs and we were able to have our dream ceremony. Every guest loved our location and we felt super happy with the final product. I will say that this isn’t the venue if you are looking for them to do everything for you, but if you want a venue that is flexible, affordable, and gorgeous, than I highly highly recommend this option. Thank you NTEC for everything you did for us, it is so very much appreciated.”

“Super nice and relaxing and fun commuting of homes, golf, restaurants and family activities. Super wealthy homes and upscale amenities. Loved the golf and it may have been the best maintained golf course I've ever been to. Billionaires live here but no one notices them as everyone just wants to relax and chill.”

“The Chateau at Incline Village is a hidden gem. The venue is stunning, the food is incredible, and the staff is welcoming and kind. Our destination wedding was magical and it’s all thanks to the phenomenal staff, most especially Denise and Brooke. We were blessed to have a gorgeous outdoor ceremony followed by cocktail hour on the patio and a beautiful reception in the ballroom. Our guests were so happy with the food, they kept telling us how delicious the spread was. Denise thoughtfully touched base with us during the reception to make sure we were enjoying our day. Brooke is incredibly calming and helped coordinate the timing of our ceremony. The staff promptly responded to all of our questions while planning our big day. They are highly versed in weddings and are very helpful in achieving your vision. My husband and I are so grateful to have our dream wedding here. I highly recommend the Chateau at Incline Village to anyone looking for an incredible wedding in Lake Tahoe.”

“I planned a birthday and retirement celebration for my mom months in advance, and our group decided to stay at Granlibakken for the occasion. We also reserved the Pine Lodge as our event space. Our group consisted of about 46–50 people, and we were all able to stay on the property, which made everything incredibly convenient.

What stood out most during our stay was the exceptional staff. They were professional, welcoming, and genuinely kind, which made the entire experience even more enjoyable. Some of us stayed in standard two-queen rooms, while others booked two-bedroom suites. It was great that we were all located within the same building and just a short distance from the event space.

The scenery is absolutely beautiful, with stunning views right from the windows. The location is also ideal—close to several Tahoe beaches and a variety of great restaurants.

We especially loved how comfortable everything was. The beds were cozy, the pillows were fluffy, and the rooms were very clean.

Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would definitely stay here again.”

“The Ritz Carlton Lake Tahoe in Truckee is the definition of what a luxury mountain experience should be. From the moment we pulled up, everything felt elevated without ever feeling forced.

Juan greeted us right away and set the tone. Warm, professional, genuinely welcoming. You could tell he takes pride in what he does. At the front desk, Convent and Angela were incredible. Efficient, polished, and personable all at once. Check in was seamless, and they made us feel like valued guests, not just another reservation.

Our room had an amazing view of the mountains and trees. Waking up to that crisp Tahoe air and looking out over the forest is something you do not forget. It is peaceful in a way that resets you.

In room dining was phenomenal. Not just good for room service. Truly exceptional. Beautiful presentation, perfectly prepared, and delivered right on time. It is rare that in room dining feels like a fine restaurant experience, but this did.

Lunch by the giant Christmas tree and massive stone fireplace was one of my favorite moments of the trip. The setting alone is stunning, especially during the holidays. Stephanie took care of us and was fantastic. Attentive without hovering, knowledgeable, and just genuinely kind. Sitting there with the tree lit up, fire going, and snow outside felt like something out of a magazine.

One of the best parts of staying here is the direct gondola access. The gondola picks you up right at the hotel and takes you down to Northstar Village. We spent time ice skating, dining outdoors with friends, shopping, and just relaxing in the fresh mountain air. Being able to go back and forth so easily makes the whole experience effortless.

The Ritz Carlton Lake Tahoe delivers on every level. Service, setting, food, atmosphere. It is luxury done right, in one of the most beautiful places in California. We will absolutely be back.”
