I worked here for a few weeks as general labor and over all the process was quick and easy. I went to a staffing agency and I was assigned at Sun Maid for a few weeks. General labor included packing, sorting, sanitation, and shoveling. A good started job for anyone who needs work and you can stay there up to 60 days until they transfer you out or become company. This was a few years ago like in 2013, however just look up the new process.

Wonderful local gift shop and of course so many raisins! Loved the huge box of raisins outside to take a photo with. Big selection of gift items, other fruits and nuts and a lot of cute things. Glad I finally got to check this out after living and working in Selma almost my whole life.

First came here as a child with my parents. They offered tours of the facility to the public then. My parents knew of it as my mother taught elementary school in Kingsburg about 70 years ago (before I was born). Whenever I am passing through the area I stop at the Sun-Maid Market and purchase boxes of apricot slabs.

I was raised on a 40 acre ranch on what is now almond trees. But it was those 38 acres of Thompson Seedless Grapevines that became part of my "life's blood". I am now 68 years old and I still remember digging around through sweatbox after sweatbox, picking out a handful of those juicy delicious fresh dried raisins. Beings that my Dad was also a truck driver, I would accompany him on many, many loads to the Sun Maid plant in Kingsburg, and was blessed to experience many "behind the scenes" look at production process. (This was back in the early sixties when common sense safety was forefront). I was always fascinated by the bleaching process in particular, but just watching the washing process in general was amazing. Throughout the years my taste for raisins wained save for my favorites, Kellogg's Raisin Brand, and Sun Maid raisin bread. My friend/landlord purchased a sixpack of small boxes of Sun Maid raisins but I was takes back by just how "punny" they all were and attributed it to it being package a couple seasons past. They were nothing close to what I remember eating 10 or 20 years ago. A sign of the times, or a bad year for raisin farmers. She ended up buying a 20 ounce/1 lb. 4 oz. box, and I was still bewildered at the low quality of the raisins. Some were nearly the size of mouse droppings. I'm going to test the market to some degree and purchase a box of Champion brand and one of Dole. I'll come back with an update and pictures. In the meantime I'm hoping this is an exception and not the new quality standard of Sun Maid raisins. -Robert L. Abrahamian Sr.

Staff kinda busy but I found something. I went there to get a donation and no one was in. No biggy. I just bought a can of yogurt raisins and made a personal donation. But the place is usually very attentive. Just an off day.

National Parks brought us to Fresno and we looked up what to do in the area. Did not realize Fresno is a big agricultural hub for CA/US and that Sun-Maid had the world's largest raisin box here as well. I'm a sucker for a certain brands, visited Huy Fong for Sriracha when we were in LA, went all the way to Austin, MN for Spam Museum.... didn't realize Sun-Maid was based here. I didn't realize I was a big raisin fan until we checked out the Sun-Maid Market here in Kingsburg. The little shop was so adorable, we really were here for the Lavender & Blueberry Golden Raisins as I browse through the site before arriving. We don't have those in Colorado. There were many things offered here that I've never seen outside of this little market. We brought everything home and I ended up ordering more that'll be arriving tomorrow. Thanks Rick for your help with updating the website so I can purchase more than 1 bag of the Lavender Blueberry Golden Raisin packs. I'm looking to make Lavender Raisin Butter Cookies and these would be perfect addition to the recipe. They had various nuts and chocolates too, we really enjoyed the Curry Cashews, very light hint of curry flavor and overall very tasty. Excited that the Mint Almonds will be here tomorrow with the rest of the lavender blueberry. We also checked out the evening farmer's market in Old Town Clovis the same week we were in town and Sun-Maid was there passing out their small packs of raisins. If you haven't tried, the tropical punch one tastes like skittles, but much better natural sugar for you without the added coloring. Give them a try. My brother who doesn't like raisins were eating those tropical punch ones like nobody's business. I'm in love. Thanks Sun-Maid!

The best chocolate covered raisins! They have a really good chocolatey flavor, fresh raisins and no wax taste. Costo chocolate covered raisins taste like wax next to these.

We were told at the store that we could visit the office and use the restrooms. However, the lady at the front desk seemed unhappy that we were there close to her lunch time. She was on her phone and said, " I can't, I have people in the lobby. No, I don't trust them..."

My husband and I were on our way back home from a celebration of life and stopped at your Sun-Maid Raisin Store. Walked in and told the lady we were a Lions Club from Prunedale, Calif., and were having a car show on the 22nd of July. I asked if there was a chance to get a donation. Not knowing, we would get it on the spot, the lady introduced us to a very nice man in charge and gave us more then we asked for. How nice of this company to be able to support us like this. Just want to tell you, the car people all received two of your little boxes and loved it. Thank you so much. Past Governor Jan Miller

I've bought the Sun-Maid raisins all my life and I'm 71. I wouldn't buy any other brand. My parents and their parents bought them too. You cant go wrong with Sun-Maid.

I very much prefer Circle K farm market to Sun Maid. I am not a fan of big batch, corporate farming. Their offerings just don't taste fresh. Sierra Nut House in Fresno and Clovis are also far superior in the products. I will shop elsewhere moving forward.
