I recommend this beautiful club for a best in class equestrian experience. My trainer is David Nelson and I recommend him for all levels.

Several years ago I decided to try riding again and Flintridge has been a life saver. It is a beautiful facility and having an adjoining field with trees to just meander around has been wonderful. There is really no other place like it in Los Angeles. The high point of my week is now my Sunday with friends as we just walk around on our horses and relax.

My family just moved into LCF and this was our "first" experience with blatant discrimination in this beautiful city. We came here for the annual Flintridge Horse Show and wanted to show our daughter the gracefulness of riding. The grounds and location were gorgeous, among the foothills of LCF on the way to JPL. We were so excited that we even bought an official Flintridge Horse Show souvenir horse toy for our daughter. She loved it so much that she immediately "sat" on it (pretending to ride) to the delight of the cashiers and other guests. However, after we put away the toy horse in our stroller, another employee came by and asked the cashier who sold the horse to us if we "just took it". The cashier immediately stated "oh, they bought it", while the accusing cashier tried to brush it aside and pretend that there was another horse toy missing behind the counter.I attempted to ignore this, as I was giving the benefit of the doubt to our experience at the Flintridge Riding Club so far. However, it nagged on me how this person would immediately assume this souvenir horse toy was "stolen", instead of bought or just given to a little girl. Would this assumption be any different if it was another family? No respectable establishment, or even retail store, would publicly accuse a guest or customer of theft in front of others. This experience left an extremely bitter taste in my mouth. We realized that we would always feel that we were being accused or judged if we came back. So never again.
