A nice specialty Asian grocery store. Lots of variety despite being on the smaller side. If you don’t want to drive all the way to H Mart, this is for you.

Well stocked little Korean market. Most items are individually priced for convenience, some are shelf tagged. Prices seem to be good, nothing gave me sticker shock, though I haven't compared to other markets further west on foothill.
They have a selection of produce as well, some of the standard items you might be able to get cheaper from a big box store, but most of the items are very specific produce used in Asian cuisine which is sometimes hard to find elsewhere. I've never had an issue with the quality of the produce either, it's all very well stocked and maintained.

The store is on the smaller side but it's packed with a lot of goods. Some prices are decent, some cheap, and some slightly pricier. They carry a lot of Korean products, which was what I was looking for.
The staff were nice and friendly.
There's plenty of parking that's shared with the surrounding businesses.

Nice small Korean grocery store (which means you can find Japanese stuff also, although limited). Small space, extremely packed but still one of the bests in the neighborhood. Wide variety of products compered to the small space.

we came to this store because we wanted to buy a lot of Asian food. but the impolite Asians drove us out of the store because I had a TINY DOG (Yorkshire terrier) weighing 2 kg in my arms! I deliberately took her in my arms before entering the store so that they would not have any complaints about my dog. my dog is calm and doesn’t care about the store at all, she doesn’t touch anything. but on the threshold as soon as we entered we were told “we don’t accept dogs, you can leave it outside.” our dog is our family member! it's not just an animal. We take care of her better than many people take care of their children. Our dog has the best groomer, veterinarian, the best and most expensive food and care cosmetics! and they suggested we leave her outside in the HEAT of 89°F. terrible store, I don’t recommend buying anything there, as the staff is not polite, not tolerant and not friendly.

The cashier was extremely rude. I left feeling with a really bad taste in my mouth! Seriously, they ought to find someone who would greet and deal with customers in a friendly manner.

It's a local market that sells Asian food, mainly Korean and Japanese products. It's a decent store, so you can use it conveniently.

I don't believe this location is affiliated with the original Lotte Mart in Korea. The signage and name are slightly different. They primarily offer Korean goods such as groceries, produce and prepared foods. I was in the area and my nieces and nephew needed a refill of snacks to bring to school. Be on the lookout some of the snacks are past its expiration date thats probably why I didn't buy the prepared food but Kimchi and stuff is usually a product that needs fermenting so you should be fine grabbing that. The prices are fairly reasonable and this seems to be the 1 of 3 Korean Markets in La Canada. Small but has a ton of stuff to cook a great Korean Meal

I live close in the area and was passing this store on the way home and wanted some korean rice cake. I called because I know most stores that sell it, usually run out. A woman picked up and she told me they were out for the day. I called back a couple days later to see if they had any and this time a male picked up. I asked for the same item in Korean and english. I was lied to and told No flat out and they don't carry it. I felt very annoyed and disrespected by this because it was a clear this employee was lying. I called back and spoke with the same woman I spoke to a couple days prior and not to my surprise she said they had them. I stopped by to pick some up on the way home. As I walked in, I asked for the item and was pointed in the direction. They didn't have the exact batch I like with sesame seeds so I grabbed the kimbap. These cashiers seemed so annoyed to have someone that's not of their culture buying products. Here's some advice for them, if you don't want Americans shopping at your store then close it and go open it in an Asian country so that you're not upset & uncomfortable. My ancestors didn't fight for civil rights in this country for people to bring their monster hateful ideologies back into America. These people clearly have no respect and do not want business from anyone outside of Asian culture. It's disgusting and sickening to see this mentality. Imagine an American going to another country opening up a shop and not wanting anyone Asian coming in. That can never happen ANYWHERE. I'm so confused why people think they can come to the United Stated with this poor low budget mentality and think they can get away with it and no one is going to shame them or call them out on it . On top of that the store looks unorganized and unsanitary so they were not getting my business again regardless of the turn out but this experience was gross and unnecessary.
