One star.
It's possible time turns back at this location, definitely a private p.o. box doesn't guarantee mail will be placed in it and if packages are long overdue ask staff to search the very back of the warehouse near the truck delivery service entrance.
Per your signed private p.o. box agreement large lockers in the lobby hold your oversized mail, large packages. Rather than provide this paid service, a yellow notice might be left in your mailbox entitling you to wait in a frequently long line of customers to pick up your mail at the counter. Generally two clerks provide expeditious service, others wear a glum expression of intolerance to retrieve those packages.
Small business letter size p.o. boxes are approx $100+ for 6 months. This fee guarantees your proper place at the back of a long line of customers to pick up your mail or to file a claim for demolished mail. Damage claims aren't typically filed so demolished mail continues. One, less likely two but rarely three clerks hover at the service counter. The $100+ fee includes a cacophony of hmms, assuming silent stares, blanket word salads from disinterested staff, your welcome and your rental fee is due!
Recent adventures:
. a 10" X 14" USPS Utility flat envelope folded in half, shoved into my small letter size po box,
. a valuable literary item too large to fit in the same mailbox shoved in, edges scrapped off while rows of large empty mail lockers intended to hold a package like this sit empty in the lobby.
. checked for weeks for 3 large glass windows destined to arrive 💰Priority💰Mail💰 instead a notice was left warning me packages would be returned to my Midwest sender if I did not pick up by the end of the same day the notice was left. Supervisor looking for those boxes for two weeks feigned lack of knowledge of their location all along.
. customers take trash home due to recepticals permanently removed from lobby years ago,
. clerk delivering package claim notices in your private mailbox says there's not enough time to put notices in mailboxes, small packages in private boxes and large packages in lobby mail lockers.. so customers should plan to wait in (long) line to pick-up their mail. Your signed rental box agreement be damned, USPS does not honor signed USPS agreement.
A male staff member and a mature female staffer provide good customer service while remaining staff often and unfortunately, exhibit varying levels of hostility when put out to assist customers with basic questions.
Customer service here can be a mosh pit of sorts, sometimes a sad take on the human experience but the real question is how on Earth did USPS service disintegrate into this? *blank stare by supervisor*

Best post office ever. There wasn't another soul in the place. When I went to the counter, I had to call to the back to find anyone who worked there, but he was very nice and helpful.

These people that work at this postal office don't want to do anything! They're not friendly, they have no eye contact, I went in with three boxes that I needed to return, I wanted to consolidate the three boxes into one, and the man working at the front just said just tape them up and bring them back. He printed out a label for me. I asked him to not print it so that it was sticky because I didn't feel comfortable just sending three boxes taped up with tape, but he printed it anyway slapped it on the box. I said, don't you have boxes he just pointed his finger to some boxes in an area. He says you need to tape these! I said, do you have tape, he turned around, pointed to the tape at the front of the store. Very unfriendly very unprofessional. I thought I could go there because it was La Cañada Flintridge in a nicer area but actually it was the worst service ever. One of the other customers that was in line, said to me, young lady. There is some tape over here that you may purchase and also if you need boxes, you may purchase them, but they would not help me behind the desk with anything, anything at all! I decided to go to my favorite, UPS store on Verdugo Road down the way, and they took care of everything for me within a couple of minutes! I won't be going back to that post officeGet it together !

Like most post offices it feels like walking back into 1980s. Understaffed slow service.

Nice neighborhood post office with a 1-way driveway. There's 1 accessible parking space. Nice, cheery, polite staff with fairly fast service.

I use this post office all the time for my mailing needs. The staff here are friendly and I appreciate that they are open on Saturdays.

Most incompetent post office, yet! We put a HOLD on our mail in September this year because the courier (for the life of him) could not deliver our mail into our mailbox for the 6 months prior, despite the address being right on the box; instead, our neighbor brought us our mail several times per week! They STILL mess up our mail by NOT HOLDING it at the post office for us to pick up, and by giving us our neighbors mail multiple times, too!! This would not be horrible except that we have highly UNSTABLE neighbors whom we do not want to risk having our mail inadvertently delivered to...sometimes we are told that we don't have any mail, then show the window workers the tracking # that it has been delivered (sometimes days prior or the same day) and they go back to look and find our boxes or say the postal worker has it on his truck...what is it doing on their truck when we have a HOLD for the past 4 months!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!????? Besides one female worker (the tallest one there, who is rarely there), everyone's answer, including Fernando, the supervisor's, is that there's nothing they can do about any of this and that they don't discriminate against incompetencies. WOW, forget customer service, but incompetencies are valued here - It's the holiday season with a lot more deliveries and it's true, at least 99% of government workers just dont have the initiative, care, aptitude, resources, energy understanding...and dozens of other things on the laundry list...the post office is better ran, privatized for basic and best practices - thankful to God I don't have to work there -

Pretty standard USPS. Service is not the fastest, and doesn’t seem to shift when there is a line or when it is empty. Small parking lot in front of the post office. You enter the lot from the side street off foothill just west of the post office. It is a little tight/small lot. There is also some street parking.

Today I went to this post office and notice 4 people standing in line spread apart and no postel service personnel at the counter. Well after a few minutes I walked up to the front left side and yelled out is anyone here to help 4 customers that are standing in line. Finally, employee came out to help the customers. I ask why nobody is at the counter and she said they were busy in the back. I got my stamps and mailed my bill too and I really wanted to talk to the supervisor but when she went back to get him, he or her wasn't there. And I was told by others to leave, holding up the line. I left but I might not go to this one anymore. I was mad but I thought this place isn't properly run and they don't care for customers as I see it.

Initially I posted one star....but an amazing staff member still on the premises at almost 9PM came to the lobby and fixed the self serve machine so I could get a package out. I was writing the review before I saw him. I was initially frustrated because the lobby was locked on the weekend without website notice. I went back Monday and processed almost $10 in postage for a package...no postage issued....tried again....same thing. Someone did not load postage labels in machine properly. Looks like from the jammed labels there were several before me that walked away without their postage, too. I hope to get the second label refunded. I appreciate the employee that went the extra mile!
