We just didn’t understand the process, it’s such a difficult thing to deal with, and so we had questions that only an autopsy would answer. Why did my family member pass away so suddenly? Why aren’t “they” doing an autopsy? Sure, my dad had a bad heart condition, but this felt so suddenly that we needed exact and accurate answers.
1800 Autopsy helped us find the answers we needed, and we are now able to have his death certificate changed.
They called us with the report fast, and explained that the actual report would take some time to get to us, which was fine. I would highly recommend 1800 Autopsy if you need answers.

Grateful to have answers that made since about my father's passing. It was money well spent to get closure and family history info we needed. The autopsy was completed and I received a call Right away with the findings and cause of death. It took a few weeks to get the official report but I felt it was all done in a timely manner. This was an extremely hard time for us and this company made this process very easy for us.

Would not recommend this company to anyone. Vicki was nice and professional yes but why would she say my mom died of a pneumonia before I even got the autopsy report back? On the report it did NOT say that . Don’t ever give a grieving family answers without knowing the facts. I just wanted to know how and why my mom passed away so young, unexpected and suddenly and for you to say that is just wrong.

I can say is my review I posted and my dad's on behalf of my sister Melissa Gagliardi it posted however not for public view for some reason all I can say is is this family business the ( Herrera family ) are not legit for the fact of the matter the main doctor/our owner of the business has a past that should be a background checked and if you do it you'll see what I mean . Also threats were made to my father I don't know what or why anyone would use the slang term in Spanish, "Al rato" - lol, before ending a conversation on the telephone?? And then that being so ghetto and unprofessional for one: & nonetheless especially to a client ? Two: Who does that, maybe at the pad or visiting the old homies Cool OK whatever , BUT at your business and to be again To a potential customer and not to mention daughter was just found deceased a month earlier with no apparent cause of death listed or determined is wrong and not to mention disrespectful if I ever heard it!!! I don't know but we are from Latin based ethnicity our family and in my book that term is a semi threat or a catch phrase that is not acceptable to be speaking to a client this type of business you should have sympathy compassion and understanding and this business is not the one you want if you agree I would give it a background check completely because all I could say is I don't want to slander too much but they were stripped of their license for reasons of doing illegal experiments with some said organs of the clients family members in the past I would check this one out thoroughly First I'm just saying. Ms A.& H Gagliardi.

So far my experience with Vicki has been amazing. She is so personable, answered every question, is very up front about what to expect and what can be done. This is a very stressful time and I feel at ease going in this with Vicki on our side.Alyson King

I’ve been trying to reach this business for over a week but every time I start of the call the woman answering the phone hangs up on me. Very unprofessional especially since I’m looking for advice on a very personal and delicate matter.

If zero stars was an option, that's what this place would get!!! My family requested the services of this business to perform an autopsy on my father after his passing. As a nursing professional, I felt like I was reading a report of an autopsy from a patient that was clearly not my father. My father suffered a large stroke. He was hospitalized for two weeks before we decided to remove his breathing tube. During the autopsy, his brain was never examined. There was no mention of the stroke in the report. Instead, they said he died of a heart attack. There are so many pertinent details of his physical post death state that were omitted, probably because his autopsy was poorly performed and/or these important details were overlooked. And yes, just like the person in one of the other reviews, his eye color was listed incorrectly. I contacted the office several times. I even spoke with the person who performed the autopsy to clarify his report. He asked me to send him medical records and pictures I took. He stated that he would be amending his report. I have yet to receive anything. I have continued to call and leave messages, almost all have gone unanswered except for when I have left very generic messages as if I am a new potential client. Super frustrating. This place came recommended from the company who handled my fathers remains. Spare yourself the additional grief of having more unanswered questions about your love ones death.

Don't use these people. The doctor was rude and condescending in their feedback remarks to questions I raised -- like how they possibly MISSED the large surgical scars on the front and back of my loved one's neck and got his eye color wrong. I was told that if I wanted to have had his neck examined by xray I should have requested that in advance. I let them know about the neck surgeries during intake. I didn't realize -- nor did anyone -- that I had to specifically request an "a la carte" item during the most painful grief period in my life. It took over 6 weeks to get my final report and then responses to my inquiries took a days to a week at a time -- with wholly unsatisfying answers from a condescending doctor. All in all, I'd find another place if I were you. It's too late for me.

We saw our father at the mortuary shortly after his passing. We immediately noticed a hole in his arm. It was SO obvious and big, no one could miss it. There was fresh blood around his night gown coming from his arm proving that bleeding came from his arm (no autospy was needed to tell us that.) So we knew where the source of bleeding came from and told the medical examiner this beforehand. All we needed to know was what caused it. AND we told Mr. Pocock this, just in case this wasn't apparent. Yet, his final autospy report does not mentions this in his report. And thats what we paid for. What's more is that we had to ask for him to look at our father's arm. Because... 1.) His arm was swollen 2.) There was an IV around it 3.) It had blood around it UNLESS Pocock didn't actually perform the autospy himself. We don't really know. Anyway, he acted like he didn't even see it, among other things we (and anyone else, including a camera) would see if they looked at our father. We told Pocock to look at our father's arm thinking it would led him to address our questions about it's prescence. We had to subject our father to be transported back from the mortuary for more analysis, just for his arm, but it appears we just wasted $4,200 and time. We know for a fact, that this contributed to his immediate passing. Yet, Pocock wrote in his final report that this was a "likely" cause and chose to highlight my father's known medical conditions instead of the cause of death bleeding out from his right arm, which is even noted on his death ceriticate as a major cause of his death. We were able to confirm this ourselves. His final autospy report does not even address HOW his arm got punctured or present a likely cause for what may have caused it or how long he may have bleed out for. We provided him with our father's medical history and a verbal record of what happened the night of his passing to the best of our knowledge to help with a narrative like he said he would provide. But we did not even get that much. He just put the cause of our father's death was kidney failure. Kidney failure was a condition that our father had, but that was not what caused his immediate death. It even says on the death certificate that it was exsanguination that led to his immediate passing. Yet, Pocock chose not to address his arm or any of our concerns relating to his death. He just addressed his medical conditions. There was no likely narrative provided that could have explained how he got a hole in his arm and how it caused his passing like on the death certificate or what we had told him we saw in person. Didn't he see it too? There's no doubt that exsanguantion caused his death, seeing as that there was blood present around his arm and his night gown. We shouldnt have had to even mention his arm to Pocock. It's lucky that we were able to see him ourselves. The hole in our father's arm was just so obvious by looking at him that it's hard to believe we had to ask him. Pocock's autospy does not answer the questions we posed to him and certainly does not do our father justice. It merely lists the medical conditions that he had told him about. Our family is still struggling to understand what really happened to our father with the same questions: 1.) HOW did his arm get punctured and/or torn? 2.) What likely caused it? 3.) And about how long was he unattended to bleed out at the facility he was at? 4.) Did he experience any abuse while he was in the facility? Why did his nose and bottom lip look altered? Unfortunately, there was also no explanation of the short toxicology report provided. As a family who loved our father dearly, we have already been through enough. So, why did Pocock not discuss and mention the hole found in his arm in depth AFTER he us he would and had our father transferred to him, twice? Why did he choose to focus more on on our father's medical conditions after we told him about these already? And why didn't he even try to answer our

Terrible customer service/phone etiquette. Broken hearted families are calling to pay for your services, you can at least act with some compassion.Would NOT recommend.I reached out 8/5 at 12:23PM. I believe it was a woman but she really sound like a male, no pun.
