“Great quality meat. Prices are better than what I’ve seen at the meat counters of the nearby Korean markets. The service was exceptional and the ahjussi owner was so kind. I felt like he went above and beyond in helping me. They even have brisket sauce that tastes like the sauces at Korean BBQ restaurants. If you are local and want to buy meat for homemade hot pot or Korean BBQ, I recommend shopping for your meat here.”
“Introduction:I came across this establishment when I was searching on Yelp for a place to grab a bite to eat. I decided to visit their website and found out the proprietor, Eagle, was one of the butchers that was on season 1 episode 6 of History's Channel's The Butcher. After watching the episode, it made me want to visit the place even more and my reasoning is as follows: in that episode of The Butcher, Eagle did not win first place in the contest but regardless, he still put the episode on his website for all to see. This conveyed to me Eagle was a true artisan who cared about the pursuit of his craft and how confident he was in what he does. As a result, I knew I had to give this place a try no matter what. Food:Breakfast sausage sandwich:This is my default go to for my weekend morning breakfast when I'm around the San Marino area. I enjoy the peppery kick and savoriness of the pork sausage, the gooey texture of the cheese, and the velvety smoothness of the egg. It's a balanced and wholesome sandwich that you'll feel good after eating it. What surprises me however, is how clean and smooth the sausage tasted; usually conventional meat lacks that kind of cleanness and smoothness. Often one only encounters that clean and smooth taste in meats when the meat is kosher [I usually have to drive to either Hollywood or Beverly Hills for that kind of meat quality and taste]. In addition, after eating the sandwich, one will feel a quick uptick in energy; it's a rare occurrence that one does not find in conventional sandwiches. Soup:Miso Soup:The miso soup is good here in the sense unlike normal miso, the miso that's used here is aged longer and hence has greater complexity and depth in its flavors. This is something I highly recommend drinking if you're someone who regularly undergo 20-24 hour fasting: it's a great way to break the fast. Drink:Cold Brew:I enjoy the cold brew here. Usually, cold brew that's served elsewhere has 3-4 notes in their flavor profiles; the cold brew here has usually two notes but they're more pronounced and distinct. I love its depth and how clean it tastes. Ambiance:Clean, classy, contemporary Service:The Proprietor and his staff are friendly and polite.Price:Reasonable.”
“The quality of the steak are amazing. This is the second time that I went back for a ribeye, and it did not disappoint. As seen in the picture I also got Australian Wagyu, delicious! Finally I have found my meat dealer ?! I have been searching for a butcher that has good quality meat. Look no further this is it and don’t look at the price you are getting a great quality steak!!!”

“We were starving and were looking for something good, new, and of courselocal. Every time we were passed to this small business and never had a chance to try Armin meat and Deli products. Finally we had a chance to try it.Very nice and clean store. Everything we were looking for was on the shelves and refrigerator s. They had variety of BBQ marinated meat, chicken and pork. The amazing part is that they make their own brand delicatessens, and deli meats and sausages. The cold cuts and sausages are Persian style. Staffs were helpful, they helped us during our visit. They have Persian style sandwiches, yey we don't need to drive to Glendale or Burbank when we are craving for Persian style sandwiches anymore. One of their favorite sandwiches is cheese and sausage, so we ordered 2 of those and pound of marinated pork rib, chicken brest, and tri tip meat to bbq at home.THEY NAILED IT! The sandwich was super tasty perfect. Usually after Persian deli or sausage sandwiches you are thirsty for whol day but with their sandwiches it didn't happen to my husband and me. They customize your cuts based on your requestWe have been purchasing beautiful rib eyes since we moved to Glendale; we have since moved about 25 minutes away but when I want to give my husband a beautiful steak I will drive to Glendale to pick up a couple of steaks. “Wonderful place owner has been in business since 1961 and makes all his german sausages and wurst , homemade liverwurst , specialties in house . Old world traditional receipe's they are the best, he has many awards for his skills and is an expert in his craft, also they bake there own artisan bread and have other breads also. Love this place , Great customer service the employees are fantastic ..I drove over an hour from corona ca just to go shopping there , it was my first time there, will be coming back again , worth the drive..Highly recommend. I give this business an A plus.”
“Came here on a recommendation from a friend. Bought a couple pounds of chicken luleh meat. Cooked it up tonight to try. It was the BEST I have found! Moist, flavorful and had very little grease.Very nice guy at the counter. Definitely five stars!”

“I don't need to write a full review here because all the other reviews do a great job of describing this "local gem." I'll just reiterate that the BBQ, whether you get the tri-tip or chicken, is smoky and delicious. To top it off, the prices are super reasonable. My son always looks forward to swinging by Handy Market on a Saturday. And we usually get extra because it reheats well the next day!”

I was in the area recently and we stopped by to pick up some fresh great meats from Dvin Meat Market in beautiful Glendale. I picked up some beef, Lamb, Chicken, Not any pork. Owners and workers pic out some of the best meats and butcher them. Inexpensive meats, Depending how many pounds you purchase. I am always a happy camper when i have the chance to shop here.”

“On Easter Sunday on our way to Alhambra Park and everyone forgot the meat!!! Found this little gem on yelp stopped by and man, I was impressed!! Don't let the size of this market fool you. Clean, and super well stocked. As we walked in the cashier was super friendly. The meat department was clean and organized. I asked what was the best meat to grill and I was immediately referred to the seasoned ranchera meat. bought a few LBS and headed to the park. Upon cooking the meat it was soft, and flavorful! I would have preferred a more think cut but over all delish! I found a new spot!!! ;)”

“Very busy for 1:30pm. The staff is always helpful and polite. Parking was not easy. No hand baskets (easy to put theft sensors on them), only shopping carts, which makes all customers take up twice as much space in a crowded store. To me, it’s a recurring problem of too many customers on their phones and trying to do too many things at once. If you are at the grocery store buy your groceries, but don’t get in other customers way because you are on the phone instead of shopping.Thanks”
