Walked to The Spot from our hotel and we had great service the food was good. Like the atmosphere. We would recommend this restaurant.

This spot is really a Pub but has an extensive menu that even children would like but be aware this is not an upscale La Jolla restaurant as far as the decor. Just a place that is open late and has good food

Originally a restaurant location in Evanston, Illinois - The Spot moved to the La Jolla Cove in 1978, bringing along with it the famous Chicago style pizza, burgers, steak, seafood, family-friendly dishes. The Spot is also known by locals as one of the best bars in town, we are a great place to have a cold drink while watching your favorite sports team play!
The Spot now has outdoor seating with ocean views overlooking La Jolla Cove.
