I had a multitude of questions and he was patient and friendly and extremely helpful. He was very knowledge about the products and didn’t push me towards any one thing. I called and Jesus was able to give me good information on the brands they have available for grass fed, and isolate products. The store itself is very organized and has a lot of good options. Every staff member, over the years, has been welcoming and good vibes, however, coming here yesterday, after about a year of absence, I was excited to be welcomed by Richard. That's my boi! You gotta love a place that asks what your goals are and aren't just trying to sell you whatever supplement you think you want. I feel like GNC let's you shop, regardless of what you think you know. Athlete's Nutrition feels like it's customized for your path, whatever it may be. This spot's even got a small gym zone inside!!!

“While in the large Zion market in Kearny mesa, I stopped into the cheong kwan jang store and the lady was extremely nice and helpful I was looking for the premium Korean red ginseng extract and found it here! She was great for showing me all the different ways it is available in all the different premium ginseng products. I bought some and I am drinking it now and it is great!

“I've been to several nutrition/supplement shops in San Diego & this location is by far thee best! Both the store owner, Egon, & his other employee (sorry completely drawing a blank on his name right now) have been very helpful when finding specific products. I feel like their supplements are reasonably priced and quality has been decent (in the past 2 years, I've only bought one preworkout that was clumpy - although I did find it on the discount rack). In addition, shoutout to Egon for always recommending the best tasting protein powders . Another bonus to this location is you're able to purchase Celsius by the case - mix n match flavors.(I've been to other shops that frown upon the mixing flavors ) Only neg is parking can be difficult - it's Downtown after all.”

“The deli sandwiches are absolutely incredible, ZERO complaints on that front. If I had to pick something to complain about it would maybe be the wait times, but honestly even at that, it’s not that bad.
The grocery side has some great looking produce, the general cost of this store is decently expensive for groceries, but that’s to be expected on Coronado Island, overall this place has my proud thumbs up”
