Store is decent but the deli is terrible. Seems like they never want to work and the customer is just a bother. Lake Murray location deli is like night and day.

Generally, on Monday during the late afternoon, the store is basically empty, and checkers are plentiful.
There are always shelves that remain somewhat empty, and many products are low in quantities available. Supply chain has not recovered since Covid, one reason Costco, 1. 5 miles away is so popular.
Pricing of items is high unless you belong to Albertson's digital coupon program. No, thank you!
Numerour self checkout lines are excellent for quick and efficient checkout.
The avality of above average alcohol selections was a nice surprise.

Love this store - very clean and organized, with lots of product variety. The staff is friendly and helpful, and they have always been able to help me find the weird, obscure products that I sometimes look for. They really have it all! The online Albertsons App is great too, and if you subscribe to it, you can get some incredible deals and digital coupons. Thanks for always being such a reliable and wonderful store :)

I'm writing this review primarily to say how great the staff and General Manager are at this Albertsons in La Mesa, CA. I'm disabled, and have had several encounters with the General Manager. He is always willing to help you out with anything you need, even if it's just for the littlest of things. I had to ask him for a favor today, TWICE, for the very same thing. He was very gracious. I get the same service from the rest of the staff as well. In addition to the store's service, the store has a great atmosphere. It's very clean inside as well. Furthermore, the food is always fresh and delicious. I know because my partner buys our groceries there sometimes. I know that their prices are a bit higher than most stores, but you get what you pay for is a phrase that is no where more true than here. I should also mention the pharmacy. I recently got my sixth Covid Vaccine Shot, and they were more than helpful. I was able to use my own insurance.

It’s the closet store to me. They are always out of rotisserie chicken. The deli workers are always rude.

I tried to call and ask about a wine. After answering, I could hear them asking another associate if they knew anything about wines and since they didn’t, they got back on the line and pretended like they couldn’t hear me so they wouldn’t have to deal with it. Pretty disappointing since there’s no way to check without going there. It doesn’t work on the app. But they could have just been up front.

As a member of the lgbtqia+ community I usually use the men's bathroom to not cause any problems. But the men's bathroom here is broken and it was an emergency. And the manager Ken and the young girl who works at the self checkout line refused to let me use my gender's bathroom for no reason. I have shopped here for months and I have been treated so poorly today I will be shopping at Trader Joe's and Ralph's from now on I will also be contacting corporate about Ken's terrible customer service.

This store has really gone downhill in the last year. They are really bad about keeping shelves stocked and having items in the ad available as well. Today they didn't have the pasta shelf stocked well at all! The pasta wasn't even on sale! This is not the only time this store has been poorly stocked and it is truly frustrating.

This place is huge I can't believe this store is comparative to Costco but not with the membership fee... well there is a store membership and if you have a phone number connected to your account you do get a discount on some items. I strongly suggest you use the membership because that's a discount usually on top of a second discount. they have a wide selection of cool seasonal items such as Oreos in different flavors and potato chips with different colored bags. I guess I was hungry when I went thereI didn't have anybody greet me when I came in the store nor did any staff member ask me if I needed help finding anything and I was wondering for quite a bit because I was hungry. My cashier not any type of memorable. Wasn't excellent service nor was it bad service just flat.
