“I got the most gorgeous Wtoo by Watters dress from Winsome Brides for my wedding! On top of that, I lucked out and got it at a super discounted price ($500!!) with the tags still on and no alterations.

The consultant, Andrea, was super nice and accommodating. She did a great job at listening to what I liked/didn’t like in the dresses and selected the dress I ended up purchasing. She was also good at handling the different personalities at my appointment and making sure I wasn’t pressured into a dress I didn’t love.

Highly recommend making a dress appointment at Winsome Brides. It was so nice to buy my dress at a great price and take it home right away, versus spending $$$$$ and waiting for the dress to be made.”

“Overall the White Flower did a very good job with my bridal gown alterations. Mary, my seamstress, was great to work with, and the hem and bustle on my gown looked amazing and stayed secure throughout my wedding and reception. The prices were also very reasonable compared to other alterations shops in the area. One frustrating part of the experience though was the amount of appointments - I had 4 total just to get a hem and bustle done - and there was a lack of flexibility to move the appointments when needed. Since I moved to San Francisco towards the end of my wedding planning process it was hard for me to schedule times to get to San Diego for my appointments, and I didn't feel that the White Flower was sensitive or accommodating to that. But besides this, they got the job done well and took good care of my gown, and I'm grateful for Mary's hard work to help me look my best for my wedding!”

“Both, sad and happy I came here. Sad that I did not know about this place sooner and could not be happier with the experience. Both the dress shop owner and the seamstress are the sweetest women. Very warm and helped me as I took my challenging toddler and 6 month old baby to look for a baptismal gown. She has the cutest baby boots for the charro outfit.

This is a one spot shop. With so many mom & pop shops that have closed in National City that used to sell party favors. Here I can buy the baptismal candle set and a variety of rosary’s for my recuerdos.

Also, might be the best place to find a quince gown & fit for the chambelan. The prices blew my mind! Don’t be snobby and think Chula Vista is the only place in town for your special events. Unless you want to over pay. ?

“I brought my wedding dress here upon recommendation of the dress shop to get the hem raised, the hook and eye closure repaired, and a customization added to the straps of the dress. I am so pleased with the results! Not only does the dress look incredible, the owners and the seamstress were so kind and professional during the whole experience. They were also so sweet and accommodating when I brought my six year old daughter with me to a couple appointments. I went in for 3-4 separate appointments including the consultations and trying on after alterations and I was met with the same friendliness and professionalism. It's clear that they all take great pride in their work and I'm extremely happy with the results of my dress. I would recommend them to anyone in need of formal alterations for bridal and prom!!

“I order my dress and it was ready with in days, I went to try it on and got some tailoring done, I called since Tuesday to go pick it up and it wasn’t ready mind you this was like 2 weeks after I payed it off, by Thursday I called said it was ready had someone came to pick it up Friday and was told my dress was not ready that there was a mistake so I called Mario and we came up with a solution he was able to resolve it. So go a month before he does have a great selection but give your self room so you are not stressed out like I was, I received my dress the night before my event I didn’t have time to fix things :(”

“First and foremost EVERYONE who works here has been such a delight to work with. Buying your wedding dress is one of the most important and stressful aspects of your wedding. I went in having no idea what I wanted and in fact bought a dress because I just wanted to be done with the process. A few weeks later I had a huge cloud of regret because I didn’t spend the time really trying to lock in what I wanted. I called the store crying my eyes out because I signed a contract for my dress. Everyone there was so kind and understanding and while they don’t always do this they worked with me and allowed me to purchase another gown.

They genuinely just wanted me to be happy with my choice and I could really feel that. I live in Ventura county and obviously Here Comes The Bride I in San Diego so it was always a journey for me to go in and do fittings but they always worked with my schedule and accommodated me in every way they could. Their selection of dresses is overwhelming. They have so many for every type of bride. Rebecca and Shelly are my absolute favorite people. They both took so much care in getting me and my dress ready for my wedding. My dress fit like a glove when I picked it up.

A little BONUS they also have two resident kitties that will help you pick your dress ;) they aren’t always out but sometimes they will come say hello and as a cat mom myself this sealed the deal for me. The rescued these little guys and give them a warm shelter which just shows me how big the hearts of all the staff really are. If you’re not a fan of cats they will make sure they don’t come out to join you on your fitting.
