Charley Brown Children’s Center (CBCC) is a trusted childcare provider located at 5921 Jackson Dr, La Mesa, CA. Established in 1972 through a community effort led by Reverend Charles Brown, the center was created to offer safe, reliable, and affordable childcare for all children in the area. CBCC provides high-quality, year-round preschool programs with full-day hours from 6 A.M. to 6 P.M. and half-day options, focusing on early childhood development. The center emphasizes a developmentally appropriate learning approach, with no screens and plenty of outdoor play. Children are grouped into development pods but have opportunities to interact with others. Parents appreciate the caring staff, the strong communication through frequent updates and photos, and the welcoming, family-like atmosphere. Many families are grateful for the center’s dedication to the children’s growth, learning, and fun, making CBCC a highly regarded choice for early childhood education in the community.

This center is amazing! We have had our child here for several years now and we have always been impressed by the caliber of teachers and staff at Charley Brown. We feel like a family here. We always feel like we know where our son is at in his development, learning, and fun. Can't speak highly enough for this place.
