You can try on your costume and tailor it to your specs. Can't do that at Spirit! Packaged costumes for purchase, tons of accessories as well as theatrical quality items with great rental options made going to Gypsy Treasure the only place I needed to go. Stop by and see the difference at this family owned La Mesa institution located in Grossmont Center Mall. Gypsy Treasures is the ultimate spot for costume rentals! I needed an outfit for a night and couldn’t have been more impressed. The team there is incredibly warm and friendly, and they know their stuff. Don’t go running in trying on the fits; take a moment to talk to someone so they can fit you properly. Do it right, respect the place, and you’ll be treated like family. They offer a unique selection that totally beats any chain store—why would anyone go to a corporate Spirit Halloween when Gypsy Treasures has everything you could want and more? FAMILY OWNED BUSINESS!! stop going to spirit!! the employees here fitted me up so nicely for a halloween party i had that same evening. it was so much fun to try stuff on in the store and very easy process to return costumes the next day. be sustainable and go here to rent an amazing costume without supporting corporations!

Just came in today for some last minute sfx makeup. Everything I needed perfect one stop shop. Employees are so kind, knowledgeable, and helpful/honest. Man what a selection they literally have have everything you need ALLLLL YEAR ROUND. Could not get better than this.

One of the few all year round costume stores in SD. Going to do my first Halloween party in a long time and wanted to look awesome so I drove from North County to see what they had. I was greeted by Chris and then he referred me to Joelle to take care of me. They have a huge selection of costumes for rental and purchase. I was looking for a warrior costume. After looking at some of the choices that Joellel showed me, I decided to rent an amazing costume. She picked through their selection offering me lots of choices. In addition to their rentals they have a lot of costumes and accessories available for purchase and I ended up purchasing a wig to go with my outfit. I was hopeful, yet skeptical about finding something today but when I walked in the store I knew right away I was in the right place. Super stoked to have a killer costume for Halloween. Highly recommended. I'll be telling all my friends where I got my outfit. Thank you Chris and Joelle... Soooooo happy with my experience!!!

This place is a miss - it's dirty & dingy, the sales people aren't friendly, and they don't seem to show a genuine interest in costumes. This is a place to rent a cheap (but costly $$) Easter bunny costume for a kid's party. Not some place to get a fun, nice costume to wear to a random costume party.

Went here for the first time, looking for scar wax. As soon as I walked in the owner offered helped with what I needed, he was also very welcoming. They have a huge selection of makeups, wigs, hats I just loved it!
