Zero star experience. Had a 12:30 reservation but when it hit 12:30, both of the employees working said they needed lunch and would help me pickup my car when they got back. I understand that people need to eat but 1) to walk away with a customer waiting is appalling customer service, 2) if you schedule 2 employees, why are both going to lunch at the same time and 3) why is Hertz letting me reserve cars for pickup when the office is at lunch?

Absolutely the worst experience with a car rental service no communication and they messed up and did nothing to help. This place lacks communication and does not know how to relay information well at all. DO NOT RENT FROM THEM. It’s a hassle and not worth it you’re better off going somewhere else. Didn’t even get a car terrible experience I WILL NEVER USE another hertz because of this location

I rented a truck, received a call 10 mins before pick up time its not available, lady on the phone said will find one and let you know after an hour 15 mis got a call truck is available so i picked up later and returned next day morning lady at counter said i will check it later and send you receipt in email when i got the receipt they charged me late return fees. I supposed to return the same time as i picked up. called many times no luck to speak with anyone left a message no one called.

Out of the cars and running late. The car was nice and new, but out of gas, 1st stop I had to make was at a gas station. Please give me a car with 1/8 or something where I can go a few miles.

I had a disappointing experience with Hertz, specifically with an employee named Amy. From my initial phone call, she was unprofessional and unhelpful, which set a bad tone for my rental experience. Unfortunately, the next day when I arrived at the location, the poor customer service continued. I expect better professionalism and courtesy from a company like Hertz. I hope management takes steps to improve their customer service.

I rented a ram truck for one day, returned it, and immediately started getting calls and text messages from all over the US stating that my ram truck was in stock if I wanted to know when I could come by to take a test drive. Needless to say my phone number was compromised even though I specifically noted not to use my phone number. This hertz location is within a Chevy location which leads me to believe that in order to operate within the facility they share rental info. I’m seeking council at this point. It’s BS. I’ve been a Hertz gold member for years and this S@#t has never happened.
I wouldn’t recommend renting from a shared location. Seek an independent operated store front.

Kenly and Jay helped me out when I was in a huge jam! My brakes suddenly needed an emergency repair, and I needed a last minute car to help me complete my work for childcare. Even though it cut into their break, these gentlemen went above and beyond into getting me where I needed to be!

This location answers the phone! I picked up a car at the El Cajon location where there were 3 employees working. I reconsidered after about 10 minutes when I realize the car I picked up was too small for my family vacation. I called back the El Cajon location and it just rang and rang. I called Escondido in Poway and they had no available cars. When I got a hold of this location, she had a bigger option for me and I exchanged it with no issues. Her service was wonderful even though she was working alone. She was responsive and kind. I wish I could remember her name.

Kenny at Bob Stall Hertz was amazing! He is professional & friendly! He gave us the best experience at any Hertz I’ve been too. Thank you for the best welcome into California definitely coming back for a rental visit here thanks Kenny

Do not go here. States online you can use debt card for an increased security deposit. They want $500 deposit and will make you wait 24 hours to pick up the vehicle if using a debit card. They will also soft pull your credit report. Waited 45 minutes to be told hidden fees.

Rented a car here and had a change in flight plans. No drop box for an early return. Ended up having to return to another location. Cost an additional 80.00. When the original cost 106.00 total. Unbelievable. Careful where you rent from.
