I had David from Leslies out to help with a pump that would not prime. He was truly outstanding and had things figured out in a short amount of time. Cost was reasonable and fair. They also came out with one day notice. I could not be happier with the total experience and would not hesitate for a moment to use them in the future.

This is the worst company ever. I bought a pool heater and they recommended the wrong one and will not exchange it. I have never seen a company that behaves so badly. There are other reputable pool company's like Del Rancho Pool & Spa and they are professional and have good business practices. Leslie's Pool is a chain only interested in profits. The personnel at the Escondido store were curt, unhelpful and mean.Please do not patronize them unless you want poor service and unreputable business practices.

I am very impressed with manager Chuck and his crew at the La Mesa Leslie's Pool Store. I don't go in often, but when I do, I always receive the best service, and the employee's knowledge of their products is top notch. Because of their expertis, I called Chuck on a Wednesday afternoon for a quote on a pump and motor. Chuck explained my choices in detail and that he can have a technician out the next morning between 8:00 - 12:00 noon. Chuck explained that the technician, Brad, would call me 20 minutes before his arrival. The next day, Brad called around 8:45 am, removed the old pump and motor, and replaced it with the new one, and the job was completed within about an hour and 15 minutes. This whole experience was headache free and very professional. Thanks again, Chuck and crew!!

Worst customer service ever. The woman Mananger that smokes those cigarettes out front when you pull up who was there was disrespectful to me, not cool and her friend was very Disrespectful and the mananger just said nothing like this is a paying customer hello ... i was there to buy pool supply not to be ridiculed and teased... will never go back there ever i will drive farther to get pool supply to stay away from her and her buddys...

Chuck is super friendly at the store and on the phone. Very knowledgeable. I had a pump go out and Leslie's service came out to replace my single speed pump with a variable speed pump. Shawn was the service tech. Also friendly and courteous. He called he was coming and arrived on-time. I asked to include my DE filter to be cleaned (added cost of course, not a bad price). Very happy with Leslie's store and service dept.

I called Leslies to come out to look at my Pentair 1.5 HP pump to ensure it was working properly. I was given a 5 hour window (on a Saturday) of which they were to arrive. I waited for the entire 5 hours and did not get so much as a phone call to inform me that they were not coming. If this were not the first time I would let it slide, however this has happened once before. The one start is for their lack of customer service attentiveness - it in no way reflects a technicians ability. That verdict is still out. I received a call the following Monday claiming that their Tech got sick. I can understand that, what I can't understand is why I was notified by a simple phone call. There is absolutely no excuse for that. Leslies: I am waiting for you comment to the above.

We ordered a pump/filter for our pool in April. The technician that came out removed the old pump and did not finish installing the equipment. In addition he took out the current electrical work without notifying us. We finally got Leslie's to come out last week to finish the work they started and the new technician told he was not able to complete the job due to a missing part. We have been calling the store directly to get updates. My husband and I have spoken to Dawn to get updates and she says she will call back but never does. Dawn said it is not her fault there is a missing part and she is busy as customers in the store take priority. As of this review my pool does not have a pump/filter and I am very disappointed that Leslie's is not helping. We also called the corporate office and the separate customer service number. No help and no resolution. I have paid for a system that as of this time does not work. Update: Leslie's pool has reached out to me and have completed the job. I am happy to report that the pool is up and running. I will update my review to 3 stars due to poor customer service, lack of communication overall and time of project completion.

Dawn was so helpful! I'm new to owning a spa and feel pretty intimidated by the whole thing, and it's so nice having a local store with people who can patiently talk you through everything. Thanks Dawn!

I live in Mira Mesa and was told by my local Leslie's Pool and that they could not help me and directed me to the La Mesa location. That place was hopping at 10 am and there were only two people working. They did an amazing job helping not only those in the store but also those blowing up their phones. Those two people, I did not get their names, deserve a raise and maybe a few more employees to assist them so they don't have to do the work of five people. Very much appreciated all their help with getting my pool back up and running.
