After researching dozens of local moving companies, S&D was the most reasonably priced with the best reviews. They required a 3 hr minimum but only took about 2 hours to move me from a 1br to a studio. They were really attentive and careful and they walked me through the truck before (to make sure it was clean and safe for my stuff) and after (to show they didn’t forget anything) the move itself. They had blankets and extra supplies incase you don’t have a box for your TV or don’t want a leather couch to get scratched up or something. They were very friendly and chatty. Very easy to work with, I didn’t need to give them directions to get to my new building or even walk them through the halls to show them what path to take. They did everything start to finish for me, and I would definitely use them again!

I highly recommend S&D moving. They took the stress out of the move.No hidden fees or charges. Shane and Ryan were prompt, polite, and very professional. I appreciate taking the extra steps to make sure my belongings made it safely.

Movers definitely worked quick and were able to get our move done. However, we are having issues locating items after the move and are noticing that some items have been damaged. Additionally, the amount we paid seems to be almost double what we were initially quoted.

Francisco and Oleg were amazing! They arrived on time, worked very hard and were very nice, very friendly, polite and very professional. We had a lot of stairs but they were very careful with the walls and make sure there are no damages. All our furniture arrived in a perfect condition, no scratches, and no damages. Great customer service! I would recommend them 100%! Ask Francisco and Oleg - they are definitely the best!

I moved last week from Bird Rock to Del Mar and because of a previous horrible experience with another mover, it took me forever to select a moving company. After a few non-pushy, informative conversations with sales rep Aron, I decided to go ahead with S&D Moving. I am so glad I did! Shane and Will were the team that took care of me. They called twice before arriving, were super punctual, professional, efficient, and even better: caring and kind. They had to deal with a little bit of a set-back from the Bird Rock building, but never lost their cool. They worked really well as a team and remained courteous to me - and to each other - the whole time. They went above and beyond to even ensure that the storage unit attached to my new place was organized, rather than dump everything in it, but without going over time. They even fixed one of my pieces of furniture that had been broken by the previous movers. I highly recommend S&D Moving, and Shane & Will in particular. Thank you guys, really well done!

Shane, Will, and Marcus gave us a great move! They were efficient, (ultra) hard-working, professional, and courteous. Shane led the packing crew one day and the moving crew (all day, door-to-door) the next. I couldn't have been happier with their service. Also, my questions before the move were answered quickly and completely. Remember that when you move, the movers provide a lot of supplies, most of which they need to charge for (exception: wardrobe boxes which they supply free and re-use!). They were transparent about all charges and I appreciate their letting me know about all charges in advance.

I just spent the last 2 hours emailing back and forth with someone about honoring their own ad prices for $71/hr. They quoted me $139/hr . I'm well within the 15 mile radius, I'm in a 2bedroom but I made it clear that I'm not bringing one of the beds even and he still said I don't qualify. Outrageous! Poor business practice out the gate. I didn't ask for anything extra, just honor your prices! I'm good..

Francisco, Anthony and Jonathan arrived on time (even a little beforehand) ready to work. The team worked very well together and were friendly, polite and efficient. They got me completely moved in 3 hours, not stopping until the job was done. I highly recommend S & D Moving.

Aaron didn't give me the least expensive estimate (it was in the middle), but I felt very comfortable speaking with him, so he earned my trust and therefore my business. Ryan, Anthony and Shahaud did a great job packing my 3-bedroom and moving everything into storage; they handled my belongings with care. Highly recommend this company.

We needed last minute help to unload a big moving truck. We called S&D Moving Company and spoke with a polite and friendly representative who scheduled us for the next morning. We received a confirmation email with all the details agreed to when scheduling. The two movers (Ryan & Shahaud) called when they were heading over and arrived on time. They were professional and friendly, not to mention extremely efficient. Great communication and customer service. I would highly recommend.

Shane, Feruz and Abe gave us outstanding service. It was a local move, only about 8 miles. Nevertheless, they packed each item with great care. They shrink-wrapped EVERYTHING and protected with cardboard where applicable. Last year we moved from Missouri to California and these guys took better care of our stuff than those who moved the long haul. They were careful to not mar walls and doorways. They took apart that which would come apart and put back together that which they took apart. They placed everything where we wanted it in our new home. They worked fast but safe. We had no damaged items. These guys were just the best. We could not have gotten more professional service. Plus, they were enjoyable to work with. We just cannot say enough good things about S&D Movers.
