I needed to buy some charging cables and other items for my cell phone this morning. I don't know a lot about electronics or exactly what to buy, so it is always with a bit of trepidation that I enter a busy store and hope to find an associate who can help me. However, in the past, I have had good luck at this particular Target store at Grossmont Center, in La Mesa. That fortuitousness proved the same today. As I approached the electronics department at 10:00 am this Saturday morning, I saw a worker in the department not engaged with other customers. I went right up to him and he helped me with utter patience and kindness, His name was Harrison. Harrison sat with me at a little table in the center of the department and brought over every kind of cable and plug I might need. He even had samples in a drawer for me to try to be absolutely certain I was buying the correct product for my needs. After making my selections based on his expertise assistance, Harrison packed up my items [at Target, you can pay for your items directly in the electronics department without proceeding to the main check out registers]. As he handed me my purchase, he said with a smile that if I had any issues at all once I arrived home, to come back and see him and he would walk me through the entire process, step by step. Five stars for Target. Five stars for Harrison!

This is my favorite target by far. I have no idea why but there's something about this place that makes me wanna keep going back. The staff are friendly and helpful. Location is great, people are great, products are good, and general vibe is great. Christmas time is the best time to go here.

Great store very organized prices are decent 10x better than Walmart. Very clean and aisles are well organized and in order. Items are very easy to fix and everything is very well directed (signs, aisle #'s, and ect.

Was looking for Italian sausage so I asked an employee who was stocking for assistance. She pointed to where I'd already looked and said "Everything we have is out there." I knew she was lying because I've worked in a store before. So I asked someone else who came and actually looked through the pile of meat. He couldn't find it so he went in the back and grabbed me a package. I don't understand why they lady lied. Maybe it's because I'm brown and gay or maybe she's just lazy. Either way, I recommend some employee training on the correct way to assist a customer (i.e. don't point) and training on where to find things that aren't on the floor.

I had a bad experience today at this location. Target mobile employee was very rude. I came to buy an Apple Watch and there weren't any target employees around. I pressed the electronics call button to get help. I didn't ask the target mobile employee for help because he was busy helping two other guests. I didn't mind waiting for someone else to come help me. As I waited the target mobile guy rudely asked what I needed and I let him know about the Apple Watch and he then asked me if they were in stock. Then when the target employee finally came the target mobile guy told the target employee how he didn't help me because I decided to press the call button instead of asking him for help and just being rude speaking about me w/ the other guests as well. It was very unprofessional of him to act that way, especially if no one gave any reasons to be like that. Other than his rudeness, target employee was nice and helpful.

Guy at tech department was really nasty. I was asking about iPad and he said they don't have them on the floor, so which one I want. I said I want to know what different types they have. He said well how much you want to spend. I said I want to know what option are there. He starts smirking and laughing like I should know exactly what I want. I wanted to know the different specifics, but I ended up leaving because he was talking to me like I'm stupid. Never again walking into this target. They should have employees that are knowledgeable and want to help people out. Or a list of product with specs that they don't keep on the floor.

Be ready to be ignored by associates at this location. I've been ignored and skipped in line here one to many times. Not coming back.

After watching Cobra Kai with my kiddos I decided that they needed to see the original Karate Kid series. After searching local stores on line I found the dvd at Grossmont Target but it was stated limited quantity. Only ONE copy in store. Upon arrival I spotted an employee who appeared to be headed to lunch, but still took the time to search through every shelf along with me and was actually the one to spot the ONLY COPY! THANK YOU DEREK FOR YOUR EXEMPLARY CUSTOMER SERVICE! Family movie night was a hit!!!

Another Target that you should have check it out everyday if you could, come in the early morning or late evening, you will more than likely to be on the winning side of finding your toy items, maybe even good clearance that none of other Target would be up to date, I got it every time. For examples right now the Netflix MOTU Battle Cat is on sales from 40 some dollars down to $23 excluded tax, but I never seen that scanned at any other Target except for this one, meanwhile the Walmart next door still have the same item for the full retail price of $40 plus tax, smh On the contrary their self check out was kinda lackluster, no fountain drink machine, only the frosty icee's machine available, although no sign of "no refill" or "no food or drink consumption during shopping", they had super empty shelves, nothing on the hot food except to go nachos, wow, minus one star for me

Nasty store that doesn't uphold state COVID-19 precautions. Only positives were proximity and self-checkout.

My go to Target. Centrally located and easy to get to Wide variety of everything imaginable. Even alcohol! They have a wide variety of lashes. As in glue on lashes and a wide variety of nails. As in glue on nails....Something I became accustomed to during Covid. Once I paid $$$ for lashes and nails and now I can just pick them up at my local Target. Add the booze and it's a win win! Oh yeah, and for the smaller things like home goods, sleepwear and bridal/baby registry. This store is right on Target. heh heh.

Pretty standard Target, although be mindful that this store is not as big as perhaps other Targets (like Mission Valley's, maybe). This means they may not have all the items you need. This happened to me with a mattress foam and a thermometer. In both cases, had to either order for delivery to the store or just go elsewhere. Besides the occasional item not in stock, or just not sold at this store, it's functional for your typical needs at Target.

Does not properly update their online stock, this is the second time I've driven out to this target because it said online they had multiple of an item and didn't. I won't be going back to this branch
