Our passport appointments got cancelled 3 times, the last one without notice, appointments should not be available in the portal at this location as there is staff shortage and they keep having to cancel appointments last minute. Staff was very kind and apologized about the inconvenience however it was a massive waste of time. We ended up going to the lakeside office where our applications were processed as a walk in in less than 5 min.

This location is convenient for dropping off snail mail and prepaid packages, but beyond that, the employees are unhelpful, bordering on rude. I will drive a bit further out and mail my packages from the Grossmont location in the future.

didnt listen to the other reviews about passport appointments being canceled but it's true. I went for my scheduled day and they told me while I was there for my scheduled time that it was cancelled. They did not offer empathy or a fix to that problem. Horrible service, horrible attitude. They also did not provide the money order I needed or the photo.

For the convenience of people who need to pick something up or check their PO box who can't get out of work before 5, or have to report to work before 9, I'm just suggesting that such a busy post office either have longer hours or at least leave access to the boxes open longer hours or 24/7. I'm sure a security cage wall can be installed without too much cost.

One of the worst post offices in American history. Employees are slow, rude and inept. It’s places like this that show how antiquated government entities are. Please close this office as the employees have zero accountability or any pride in their jobs. Retrain the entire staff not to mention the hygiene of employees is disgusting and the whole lobby is filthy. I’d rather be deported than ever walk in this office again. 1 star is far too many stars for my experience.

I just wanted to leave a review of my wonderful passport appointment experience on August 20th with Jean? (Forgive me if I got her name incorrect). She was so helpful and really made the stress of getting two passports so much less. Thank you so much!!

GREAT SERVICE FOR USA PASSPORT
I made the appointment through the website, don't be afraid of the lines, if they respect the appointment time, just wait for them to say your name. Friendly service and processing in less than 5 minutes if you have already printed everything and completed the form. They also took my photo and I paid with a debit card by purchasing the Money Order. ?Yes, they can attend without an appointment for the procedure, but it will take much longer, that is why there are lines.

This has to be one of slowest, worst post office locations I have ever been too. Most Post offices have horribly slow service as it is, but this one takes the cake for not giving a damn about customers time. You’ll have 10 people waiting in line with just one worker up front, I mean how and why is this allowed to happen? Plus they close too early on Saturdays and if you’re someone that works late, good luck getting your mail after hours throughout the week, because it’s not gonna happen. Before you could get your mail whenever you wanted, even if it was at 10 pm, the access doors used to be open to you, not anymore. The homeless and druggies took advantage of that, and screwed it up for the rest of us.

I would go there on a regular basis but stopped going because of their worker named Jessica. My clients usually ask me to take a picture of the envelope as it goes to the Government agencies and she didn't allow me to take a picture of the envelope. Other workers are very frinedly and would allow me to do so but this lady is very disappointing. then came several times after this and still same attitude. Try to leave the office once i see her and never recommend anyone to go there when she is there.

Reporting an incident with Postal Office employee "Dave", which occured on Monday March 25, 2024 @ 4:48 pm. I was waiting in line like everyone else when he pointed to the gentleman in front of me and loudly shouted "you are the last person in line". Was I invisible? I asked what about me, and he ignored and carried on tending to work. All other customers were white caucasian, and I was the only colored Indian ... I mean at 4:48 pm, this man arbitrarily decided who he was going to tend to. There is no notice anywhere that post office closes at 4:48 pm or "someone" decides who in the waiting line is the last person. Are we living in the dark ages? Are there locks in the building? Is there a system that makes any logical sense to cut off a line because an employee choses to do so? This is absurd ... a Federal Employee should be ashamed of himself conducting in this manner. Get some education on work ethics and customer service. We, the public ARE paying your salaries mind you!!! It was an important mailer for me or I would have ignored this incident. Supervisors TAKE A NOTE!!!
