“It was a typical Home Depot except for all the building supplies are in the back. So as a contractor, if you need to get it, that's where it is. Typically it's upfront I'd prefer that.. There's no people working there either huh I'm gonna. I didn't see anybody on the floor working, but it was closing time on a Sunday. It is a little smaller than most HD's. But for the most part it's there. I got my 3 sheets of drywall and split after that. I recommend it.”

“I discovered this place not long ago and it became the place to go to first when I have a remodeling project coming up or when a tenant moves out. Everyone working there is very friendly with a great customer service attitude, Jesse in particular, he always goes out of his way to help, very professional and knowledgeable especially when it comes to building material, appliances and construction in general. Inventory changes all the time so you need to make frequent visits that's why I always stop by when I am in the area to see what new items came in. This place is fantastic!!!”

“Went looking for tile. Wasn't sure exactly what type, size, or finish I wanted. A lady came up and offered her help. Not a pushy salesman. Just really nice and excited to be of help. She is the reason I opened a Lowes card and bought from them. I wish I had gotten her name so I could give her a shout-out.”

“We did a full home renovation a little over a year ago, but I accidentally forgot about this place and decided to do a review now since we bought several items here and they have mostly stood up to the test of time. We bought 2 large LED mirrors for our Master Bathroom which have actually been fantastic. We also bought 2 other LED mirrors from Costco for our other bathrooms, and I'll have to say that the ones we bought here are much, much better and they were around the same price as Costco. You can definitely see the difference in quality not only in the lighting, but also in the mirror quality as the mirror we bought here has a much more clear reflection. I always thought a mirror is a mirror, but that is absolutely not true and it's clear when you have two different brands to compare them to each other, you can definitely see how one might have a better reflection than another. We also bought a freestanding bath tub which has so far been excellent. No issues so far and it also feels much bigger when you actually take a bath in it, then when when we saw it in the showroom. This also was probably around $200-300 cheaper than if we bought a similarly sized one at Home Depot or Lowes. With our freestanding bath tub, we also bought a freestanding bathtub faucet in nickel. Again, so far it's worked great and we have no complaints. This also was much cheaper than buying a more popular name brand such as Delta or Kohler. I would think it was more than half the price of the name brands. This was probably our best deal at Luxor. Finally, we bought 2 different brands of one-piece elongated toilets. This was probably our biggest disappointment. Although the price of these toilets were probably around one-half of name brands, such as Kohler, I think in the future, I would just go with a name brand. These aren't bad toilets, but one of the brands has really cheap seats that move around a lot. We tried to replace the seats, but it's hard to find a perfect size that fits. While the other toilet's seat is fine, but will splash a little water outside the bowl when you flush, which is kind of gross. Overall, we can live with the deficiencies of these toilets and would probably give them 3 stars for the price, but taking into account the other items, I'd have to give them 5 stars. Also, overall, the customer service is good. I wouldn't say great, but good and probably better than if you were to purchase at Home Depot or Lowes.”

“Amazing finds, from Porcelain tile for my new bathroom to even furnishing it with a gorgeous Vanity, Mirror, storage cabinet and rods. Great variety in inside and outdoor lighting with many styles, a must to get what you need at a very reasonable price.”

“I have to drive a few extra miles to shop at Lowes..but its worth it. Lowes has alot of nice products that Home Depot doesnt have. Lowes is always very nice and clean and the staff is always helpful and very friendly.”

“Nice place to get just about everything you need for home and garden. This time, tried the pickup lockers (Just outside the front entrance). Lift the flap, touch the screen, enter the code from the text, and it pops open the compartment containing your purchase. It's great for smaller items!”

“I must give 5 stars to the customer service we got in this Home Depot by Frank, the guy in the doors department. It was very polite and helpful. He gave my husband all the information he needed on the security doors that he needed to order. We went to the Home Depot in Downey and the one in Cerritos, Terrible customer service, we waited for half an hour on each of these stores for someone to help us, but no one showed up, when we arrived at this store , my husband ask a young guy for help and right away he called the person in charge of the doors , so Frank came like in 3 minutes, open his computer, looked for prices and dates for the special orders ?”

“The Home Depot! Everything you need for home improvement can be found here. And other things you need. I wanted to grab some boxes for moving and found some other things I've been needing. I found AA batteries, which I've been wanting for some toys. And then I grabbed some items for laundry; Woolite (a lifesaver for anyone who wears black or dark colors!), and laundry beads (they make my clothes smell soooooooo dang good!). I was able to get all the things I wanted and needed. :)”

“Had some logistical incorrect things completed on Penske's end and Owen was SO professional and helpful to fix the issue. I was almost wrongfully charged $80+ for some damages/tank not being full but thank goodness I had photo evidence to show, so Owen was able to reverse these charges. Shoutout to Owen for fixing a mistake that wasn't his!!”

“Home Depot is hands down my favored store of all time. And let’s be honest there’s not a bunch of Harvard graduates working there. As as soon as the CAT knives showed up on the Home Depot site I inquired with one of the sales associates and she replied “ kitty cat” Of course I was referring to the CAT - Caterpillar- heavy equipment operator company But they don’t carry the stores so I understand for her it’s not part of her required curriculum. I was looking for a replacement bulb for a lava lamp which are specialty bulbs ( of course they have to heat to a precise degrees or they ruin the substance inside the lava lamp) And the sale aaaociate, looked at me all confused Then said “ really your supposed to use a special kind of bulb, I guess that’s why all the floor models of the lava lamps got ruined right after I changed the bulbs” And at the moment he was trying to help me find the bulb I needed The blind leading the blind I worked at harbor freight when I was 19 Not only did I memorize every single sku number of every item we carried I taught myself how to use every last one. And do construction to this day and I’m 43 I loved my job and was always very knowledgeable about everything we sold. There’s maybe two employees in every store that actually feels that way about customer service and it’s super lame because sometimes u do need assistance Even worse when u need something like materials for a job u don’t want to run into a guy who’s trying yo “ fake it till he make it” If u get materials u need to have cut for your order and prepared before u leave by the time u get back ti the job And find out the size is wrong u have lost time that could make or break that job and customer I still give it 5 stars because of inventory and my overall need for brands like Milwaukee and channel lock that lame Lowe’s doesn’t carry and that’s the only other option we would have”

“Who hired Andres? You have a keen eye for talent. Please fill your store with more like him. He crossed paths with me at the entrance. I had a mulch exchange which I'd purchased the wrong color. The initial contact, the usual not so friendly front end customer service you don't have your receipt...blah blah...never mind that I spend thousands of dollars at this store chain yearly. Never mind that not only was I replacing with a correct color but purchasing more bags, but ok ladies, I have a broken rib and no strength to care so I will allow you to be condescending and feel important, just give me my mulch. I still have Andres. He hauled the cart with the wrong color bags to the garden, loaded now 10 bags of the right color, plus two bags of GroMulch and was ever so happy to do so. Andres stayed with me through check out and loaded my car ever so careful...and just a nice guy. "Ma'am, I love my job" The attitude amazing...the skills...amazing. Management keep an eye on this man and give him what he deserves. Don't lose him and hire more like him. To loyal Home Depot customers that read this review ask for him when you come in and commend him for doing a great job. They don't get paid enough for their hard work. To the management...hire more employees that care just like Andre.”

I also witnessed Loss Prevention in action, they were actually pretty civil and by the book from what I saw. I guess someone was tryna take some items with out paying for them. “Great store... very helpful and friendly staff. It's not their fault they're under staffed. I had to wait almost an hour for assistance in the plumbing department, but when Jesse the young man that did assist me... he was extremely knowledgeable and helpful.. poor guy had like 8 customers waiting for assistance, and that was only in the plumbing department. Home Depot really needs to do better and add more staff, you figure since they don't have cashiers anymore... they could! That would truly create a harmonious environment between employees and customers.. employees won't be spread so thin and customers won't have to wait "FOREVER" to be serviced.”
